This weekend, the Second Collection is our Maintenance
& Repair Collection. These funds help with the r epair
and restoration of the parish buildings. Thank you for your

CHURCHES IN NEED
MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.
Monday, January 19th, is the Mar tin Luther King Day
and a National Holiday. The Rectory Office will be closed.
Mass will be at 7:00am and 9:00am. There will be no Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. The Church will close
following the 9:00am Mass.
FOUNDATIONS FOR MINISTRY PROGRAM
Are you thinking about volunteering for a parish ministry?
Are you already in ministry or part of the Parish Pastoral
Council but need an update on the teachings of the Catholic
Church? Perhaps the Pastoral Institute’s Foundations for
Ministry Program is for you! This 10-week program, designed for adult learners, covers a different topic each

HUMAN GROWTH WORKSHOPS
There will be a series of workshops in Spanish for all who
want to participate. All workshops will be held at the Valero
Hall and need to call the parish to register.

2. Workshop for parents with children in catechism:

PARISH SUPPORT INITIATIVE
Many parishioner understand the need for everyone to participate in our Parish Support Program. At Blessed Sacrament Church, this participation will mean different things to
different people depending on the present degree of support,
such as:
1. Register in Blessed Sacrament to establish membership.
2. Use weekly envelopes with a contribution.
3. Increase your weekly donation to Blessed Sacrament
Church.
We will be able to meet our expenses if we have an increase
in our income. Each of us is aware of the costs of running
our own homes. The same demands apply to our parish.
Whatever your means allow, we ask you to considering increasing your contribution.
Our goals are:
1. To register more parishioners.
2. To realize an increase that will allow us to cover our
daily expenses.

MANTENIMIENTO Y REPARACION
Este fin de Semana la Segunda Colecta es par a el
“Reparación y Restauración”. Estos fondos nos permiten hacer los arreglos y restauraciones de los edificios de
la parroquia. Gracias por su ayuda.
AYUDA A LAS IGLESIAS EN NECESIDAD
La próxima semana, 24-25 de Enero, la Segunda Colecta
es una colecta de la Diócesis para ayudar en los programas
para las Iglesias de América Latina, el Caribe, Europa del
Este y África. Entr e los pr oyectos par a Latinoamérica y
el Caribe están la evangelización, formación de laicos, seminaristas y religiosos. En el Este de Europa esta el entrenamiento se seminaristas y lideres laicos, renovación,
construcción y evangelización utilizando los diferentes
medios de comunicación. En Africa, extensión de programas, escuelas, evangelización y educación de clérigos y
ministros laicos. Gracias por su generosidad y ayuda por
este esfuerzo.
MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.
El día Lunes 19 de Enero, se celebra el Día de Martin Luther King, Jr., razón por la cual la Oficina de la Casa Parroquial estará cerrada. Las Misas se celebrarán a las 7:00am y
9:00am. No tendremos Exposición de la Eucaristía y la
Iglesia se cerrará después de la Misa de 9:00am.

TALLERES DE CRECIMIENTO HUMANO
La Doctora Everlyn Damiani Simmonds quien es una reconocida
psicóloga y además involucrada en la Iglesia en la formación de
los Religiosos estará en nuestra parroquia para dictar diferentes
Talleres que ayuden al crecimiento humano de los feligreses del
Santísimo Sacramento. Todos los talleres serán realizados en el
Salón Valero y necesita llamar a la parroquia para inscribirse.

PROGRAMA DE APOYO PARROQUIAL
Muchos feligreses comprenden la necesidad de la participación
de todo el mundo en el Programa de Apoyo Parroquial. Para la
Iglesia del Santísimo Sacramento, participación significa distintas cosas a distintas personas, como:
1. Registrarse en el Santísimo Sacramento para establecer
residencia.
2. Usar los sobres de la parroquia para sus donaciones semanales.
3. Aumentar su compromiso semanal a la Iglesia del Santísimo Sacramento.
Solo podemos cumplir con nuestros gastos diarios si se han
aumentado los ingresos. Cada uno de nosotros es consciente de
los gastos de la financiación de nuestros propios hogares. Lo
mismo es cierto de nuestra parroquia. Cualquier cosa que decida, su regalo debe tener alguna relación con como se vive y ser
proporcionales a su capacidad.
Nuestra metas son:
1. Inscribir mas feligreses y
2. Llegar a un aumento en el que podamos cumplir con nuestros gasto cotidianos.
