of the Cross Mary’s Way
Join our Life Teens in their
live presentation of the
Living Stations of the
Cross from Mary’s
perspective. The presentation will be held in church, on
March 4, 2016, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Prayerfully join us as we walk Jesus’ last steps with his
mother. Share in Mary’s ever-present faith, her sense of
surrender, confusion and helplessness. Experience this
intimate journey of faith, through the sorrowful heart of
his mother, while reflecting on the pain and suffering
Jesus was subjected to on the rod to Calvary and his
crucifixion.

El Camino de María
Únase a nuestros jóvenes de Life Teen en su presentación
en vivo de las Estaciones de la Cruz, desde la perspectiva
de Maria. Esta presentación se llevará a cabo el Marzo 4,

Join the prayer group every Third Thursday of the month
from 7-8 p.m. in the Church to pray as a group for the
sick and suffering of our parish in addition to praying for
an end to abortion and the victims of abortion.
A Scriptural Rosary (led by our Acolyte John Sudkamp)
with Scripture from the New Testament will be prayed.
This is followed by praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet.

ANNUAL ST. PATRICK’S DINNER/DANCE
Our annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner and Dance will
be held on Saturday March 12, 2016, at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $12 per person. Everyone is invited for
an evening of dancing (Cool Freddy & Kevin), food
(corn beef & cabbage, or BBQ) and the McTeggart
Irish Dancers of South Texas will be here to
entertain.
Also, there will be silent and live auctions.
Proceeds from this event directly support our St.
Anne Church Altar Rosary Society. Join us for an
evening of fun!

James Steinocher Scholarship - St. Anne Council
Knights of Columbus will award two $500
scholarships for the Academic Year 2016-17.
Selection will be made in Spring 2016 and the
scholarship awarded for AY 2016-17. Go to

March for Life, will be held on Mar ch 5, 2016.
All are welcome to join us to affirm our
commitment to God’s Law and pray to end abortion.
We will begin with Mass at Christ the Good
Shepherd, 18511 Klein Church Road in Spring at
8:30 am. At 9:30 am, following the Mass, we will
recite the rosary at the Planned Parenthood Clinic on
Louetta.

Baptisms for infants through age 6
The next baptism classes will be April 8 and 15, 2016
There will be no classes during March, due to Lent.
You must be a registered and active parishioner at St.
Anne for at least 6 months prior to taking the classes.
Both parents and Godparents must attend both classes.
Please contact the Parish Office at least 2 weeks prior
to the classes. You will not be able to schedule a
baptism until you have taken the classes.
Families not registered in our parish will be placed
on a wait list. Provided space is available, those on the
wait list will be added to both classes, as well as
baptisms.
Children age 7 and older need to go thr ough the
process of the Rite of Christian Initiation for Children.
The process begins with attendance at CCE classes:
Grades 1st through 5th with Barbara Lowell CCE
Coordinator, Grades 6th through 12th with Bridget
Landin Youth Coordinator.
Please keep these candidates in your
prayers, as they journey through the last
four and half weeks before joining the
church at Easter Vigil.

Para niños menores de 6 años
La siguiente clase para bautizos (en español) será el
sábado 9 de Abril, de 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
No hay clases en Marzo, debido a la Cuaresma.
Debe ser un parroquiano registrado y activo en St.
Anne por no menos de 6 meses antes de tomar la clase
o bautizar. Las clases son obligatorias para los padres
y padrinos.
Los Bautizos no se confirmarán hasta que hayan
tomado la clase. Favor de llamar la oficina no menos
de 2 semanas antes de la clase para hacer su cita y traer
una copia del certificado de nacimiento para poder
inscribir a su niño/niña.

Summer 2016 AYC Conference
We are starting to take interest forms and take a count of
those who would like to join us for the biggest and best
archdiocesan high school event of the year – the
Archdiocesan Youth Rally! This is open to all incoming
High School freshman thru 2016 graduating seniors. It
will be an amazing conference of 3,200 of our closest
Catholic friends. The cost is $200 and there will be
fundraisers to help with the cost. The interest forms are
available at Life Teen and on our web page
www.stanneym.com. The deposit is $50.
2016 Steubenville Conference
We have 15 spots reserved for the new Steubenville Lone
Star in Dallas, Texas, in June 2016. Currently we have
space for 2 more teens. Go to our youth ministry web page
for the interest forms. If you have signed up please make
sure to turn in your $50 deposit or you may lose your spot.

Conferencia del Verano 2016 - AYC
Estamos comenzando a juntar las formas de interes

workshops presented by the National Association of
Pastoral Musicians’ National Convention, which will
be held in Houston July 11-16, 2016.

Special Lent Reconciliation
At Pope Francis’ initiative, asking that the Sacrament of
Reconciliation be offered abundantly immediately before
the 4th week of Lent, Cardinal DiNardo requests that on
Friday March 4, 2016, priests be available to offer the
Sacrament of Reconciliation in all parishes in the
Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
Therefore, in beautiful manifestation of the Father’s
mercy, we will have confessions from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00
p.m. in the chur ch in both English and Spanish.

A iniciativa del Papa Francisco, pidiendo que el
Sacramento de la reconciliación sea ofrecido
abundantemente, inmediatamente antes de la 4ª semana
de Cuaresma, el cardenal DiNardo requiere que, el
viernes, 4 de marzo de 2016, los sacer dotes ofr ezcan el
Sacramento de la reconciliación en todas las parroquias
de la Arquidiócesis de Galveston-Houston.
Por lo tanto, en esta hermosa manifestación de la
misericordia del Padre, St Anne tendrá confesiones de
