When a loved person dies, instead of giving
gifts of specific items, we request that a donation be
made to a parish memorial fund. The fund permits
the family of the deceased to remember them through
the purchase of an item that is both useful and
necessary to the parish.
In addition to the above, the following
MEMORIALS can be had: BREAD & WINE for the
week is available at a suggested offering of $25;
FLOWERS for the altar for the week are available at
a suggested offering of $35; and monthly ALTAR
CANDLES at a suggested offering of $50.

IN MEMORIAM
Very early in the morning after the
Sabbath, Mary Magdalene went to the
tomb to anoint Jesus’ body with precious
oils. The reward of this good and
conscientious steward was to be the first
to know that Jesus had been raised from
the dead! Alleluia!
We are grateful this week for all stewards in
our parish who share the “Good News” - that
Christ is risen, victorious over sin and
death—wherever and whenever they can!
Gun violence drains our country of
$100 billion every year in medical,
criminal justice, and security costs.
That all families might participate fully in the
life of the most Blessed Trinity, by a
sacrificial and complete gift of themselves

So Beautiful
I look to see the beauty in all things.
There’s a journey through the desertdry, barren, harsh, unforgiving.
Three travelers, one of whom is yet unborn.
They are followed by hate and fear, anticipation and reverence.
There is a star that shown to shepherds and astronomers,
kings, priests and poets.
That star shown on a place -a place barely suitable for animals,
A place where animals eat, lay, and defecate.
This place held the birth of the traveler this babe lain in a feeding trough, this babe wrapped tightly in rags,
all under the threat of death.
Beautiful, so beautiful.
Years pass—
Then there is fasting and testing, then a better understanding.
Later there are followers and friends, zealous adoration and miracles,
attempted entrapment and deception.
Soon there are jeers and accusation, there is screaming for blood;
a demand for the lamb to slaughter, fists that pummel;
a cat with nine tails that tears, thorns that dig deep.
So came the bruises and cuts, the blood, the sweat, the tears.
Beautiful, so beautiful.
There are seeds that became trees, those trees made into planks.
These made into an instrument of torture and death,
then carried by the one it is meant for.
There are also nails of iron, nails that bite and hold—
not just the wrists but the feet as well.
A plaque that mocks yet states the truth.
Muscles that cramp, lungs that burn, an agonizingly dry mouth.
Soldiers that wager and pierce. Of course there is death.
All this in the place of the skull, all this on a garbage dump.
Beautiful, so beautiful.
Then there’s me—I’m a mess, a product of my environment.
Mine is a life in disarray and chaos.
My shortcomings, my failures, my inadequacies taunt me and test me.
I’m full of fear, anger and revenge, full of lust, deception and malice,
full of pride, ego, and greed.
I want, I need, I have to have.
Yes there is a willing spirit but the flesh is frail, feeble, and weak.
Beautiful, so beautiful.
How are these things beautiful? How can these things bring me joy?
By my submission and acceptance.
All these things brought me one thing—the thing I lack, the one thing we all need.
SALVATION.
But there is something missing from this picture,
One thing that makes this journey to freedom possiblethis salvation, this gift of God is made complete in the RESURRECTION.

con preciosos aceites el cuerpo de Jesús.
¡La recompensa por esta buena y
concienzuda administradora de los
bienes de Dios fue la de ser la primera en
saber que Jesús se había levantado de
entre los muertos! ¡Aleluya!
Agradecemos esta semana a todos los administradores de
nuestra parroquia que comparten la "Buena Nueva" - que
Cristo ha resucitado, victorioso sobre el pecado y la muerte.
Intercesiones por la Vida
Que todas las familias puedan participar plenamente

sacrificio y dando por completo
de sí mismos.
Roguemos al Señor:
Señor, escucha nuestra oración.
La violencia armada drena nuestro
país $ 100 mil millones cada año en
la justicia, en servicio médicos, en
criminales, y en costos de seguridad.
Volvamos a nuestro Señor en la oración y

NUESTRA SEÑORA DE LA MEDALLA MILAGROSA
Hermoso, muy hermoso
Miro y veo la belleza en todas las cosas.
Hay un camino por el desierto seco, árido, duro, implacable.
Tres viajeros, uno de los cuales aún no ha nacido.
Ellos son seguidos por el odio y el miedo, la anticipación y la reverencia.
Hay una estrella que aparece a los pastores y a los astrónomos,
reyes, sacerdotes y poetas.
Esa estrella que aparece en un lugar, un lugar apenas adecuado para los animales,
Un lugar donde los animales comen, y los laicos defecan.
En este lugar se celebró el nacimiento del viajero esta chica acostada en un pesebre, esta nena bien envuelta en harapos,
todo ellos bajo la amenaza de la muerte.
Hermoso, muy hermoso.
Los años pasan Luego está el ayuno y la prueba, a continuación, una mejor comprensión.
Más tarde hay seguidores y amigos, la adoración ferviente y milagros,
intento de trampa y de engaño.
