Dress Code
While at the Pioneer Prep Leadership Institute, we want students to be comfortable and have the
ability to express their personal style. However, we do not want this to distract from the purpose
of the program and interfere with the students’ ability to pay attention and absorb the information
being presented. Please review the guidelines below as these are clothing that will not be
allowed, plan and pack accordingly:

Revealing clothing baring midriffs, cleavage, or underwear (no sagging)
See-through clothing
Logos, innuendoes, symbols or statements that are sexually suggestive
Logos, innuendo, symbols or statements that are drug, alcohol, or tobacco related
Logos, innuendos, symbols or statements that are vulgar, insulting or ridicules a
particular person or group
Skirts and shorts shorter than mid-thigh length
Hats in the buildings or classrooms
Bandannas worn in any fashion and of any colors
Participants of the summer college workshop are expected to exercise careful judgment in the
selection of appropriate attire for the workshop. We want participants to get 100 percent of the
information offered, have fun while being respectful of themselves and others.

Ropa que tenga logos, insinuaciones, símbolos o declaraciones de carácter
persuasivamente sexual
Ropa que tenga logos, insinuaciones, símbolos o declaraciones que inviten al uso de
drogas, alcohol o tabaco.
Ropa que tenga logos, insinuaciones, símbolos o declaraciones que sean vulgares,
insultantes, o burlonas hacia una persona o un grupo de personas.
Faldas, shorts o bermudas que cubran menos de la mitad del muslo.
Sombreros o gorras en los salones de clase.
Pañuelos en la frente no serán permitidos de ninguna clase o de ningún color.
Es nuestra expectativa que los participantes de los talleres de verano usen un juicio cuidadoso
cuando estén seleccionando sus atuendos para el taller. Nosotros queremos que todos los
estudiantes tengan la oportunidad de obtener el 100% de la información que les estaremos
ofreciendo. Esperamos que los estudiantes se diviertan mientras mantengan el respeto por ellos
mismos y los demás.
