In partnership with the public, cities, counties, and the Texas Department of Transportation and following public meetings in August, the Regional Transportation Council, in September, approved a list of congested corridors to be improved as a result of the funding. Since that time, staff from NCTCOG, the Texas Department of Transportation and local agencies have coordinated extensively and determined changes to the list are needed to strategically fund and expedite projects. Proposed changes to the list of Proposition 12 funded projects will be presented for public input. Comments on the proposed changes are due by 5 pm February 8, 2012 to meet funding requirements and ensure projects can move forward as planned without delay. Audio and information from the public meeting will be posted at www.nctcog.org/meetings. www.twitter.com/NCTCOGtrans
