Distintivo “Compromiso de Calidad Turística”
El distintivo “Compromiso de Calidad Turística” lo concede el Instituto de Turismo de España (TURESPAÑA) y la
Federación Española de Municipios y Provincias (FEMP), a través del proyecto Sistema Integral de Calidad
Turística en Destino (SICTED) de la Secretaría de Estado de Turismo (SET). El objetivo es incorporar calidad en
los destinos turísticos para mejorar la experiencia y satisfacción del visitante y turista. Desde mayo de 2007 la
Villa de Candelaria viene trabajando en el SICTED con el fin de asentar este proyecto en las empresas y servicios

“Compromiso de Calidad Turística” en Candelaria
La Villa de Candelaria ofrece atractivos puntos de interés y permite disfrutar del ocio en un
ambiente familiar y acogedor. Es un lugar de peregrinación y culto a la Patrona de las Islas
Canarias, la Virgen de Candelaria. Majestuosas figuras en bronce ubicadas en la Plaza de la
Patrona de Canarias, representan a los nueve reyes guanches “Menceyes” que gobernaban en la
Isla en el momento de la conquista.
Sus playas de arena oscura y origen volcánico se extienden a lo largo de 9 kilómetros de
costa, contrastando con el verde de sus montes.
Su clima, con una temperatura media anual de 22ºC invita a pasear al visitante por sus
avenidas y disfrutar de la amplia oferta comercial y gastronómica del municipio.

Distinctive "Commitment of Tourist Quality" it grants the Institute of Tourism of Spain
(TURESPAÑA) and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP),
across the project Integral System of Tourist Quality in Destination (SICTED) of the
Secretariat of State of Tourism (SET).The aim is to incorporate quality in the tourist
destinations to improve the experience and satisfaction of the visitor and tourist.
From May, 2007 Candelaria's Villa comes being employed at the SICTED in order
to seat this project in the companies and services of the municipality.

in Candelaria
The Candelaria's Town offers attractive points of interest and allows to
