UIL Film Festival
Attention aspiring film-makers! UIL now has a film-making
category. Creekview will be hosting the first Annual Film
Festival on January 13th and entries are welcome from
any high schooler in CFB. The submission window will
begin December 9th and end January 5th. All films will be
screened at our Film Festival, and then entered into the
State UIL Competition. See Mrs. Kelley in room E330 for

Creekview America is fortunate to have many people
that support our students and teachers. Now is the time
to give back and nominate an outstanding person for the
PTSA Life member Award. Whether parent, teacher,
administrator or business person, he or she does not
have to be a member of the PTSA and their service does
NOT need to be connected directly with the PTSA. Form

Post Prom Bake Sale
There will be a BAKE SALE to raise money for Post
Prom – THIS FRIDAY, Dec. 9th after school! Students
– satisfy your sweet tooth on your way out the door
with some yummy treats. All items 50¢.
Senior parents – please donate cookies, brownies or
Rice Krispie treats. All profits help pay for our Post
Prom event so that ALL Seniors can attend for FREE
and we can give away awesome prizes like TVs, a

Orchestra Winter Concert
All students and staff are invited to the “Carrollton
of the Bells” Orchestra Winter Concert which will
take place this coming Monday, December 5th at 7
p.m. They will finish with their traditional
performance of “Sleigh Ride.”Admission is free
and open to the public. Hope to see you there!
Dual Credit Information
Attention Juniors and Seniors: Representatives
from Brookhaven will be in the cafeteria on
Wednesday, December 7, during all three lunch
periods to speak with students interested in taking
a dual credit class during the Spring Semester. See
Mrs. Moss in Student Services, if you have any
questions.
Creekview Cares Campaign
AVID is hosting the annual Creekview Cares
Campaign from November 28th – December
9th. Look around campus for the donation boxes
to bring gently used coats, sweaters, or
blankets, canned food items, toilet paper, or
anything to be donated to Metrocrest. Please
help those in need during the holidays and show
our community how much Creekview Cares!

Texas PTA Life membership Nominations
There are so many deserving individuals serving and helping our students at
Creekview High School. Please take a moment to honor a teacher, an administrator, a
parent volunteer, or an individual in our business community.
What is Life Membership?
It is one of the highest honors presented to individuals by the Texas PTA for
outstanding service to children and youth. It is a wonderful way to publicly recognize
individual contributions to our school and our children. He or she does not have to be
a member of the PTSA and their service does NOT need to be connected with the PTSA.
Life Membership recipients will be honored in January 2017 at Creekview.
How do I submit a nomination?
Just fill out the information below by Monday, December 12, 2016. Parents, faculty
members and community members may submit nominations to the committee.
