Información importante
Seguridad vial
ff Solo está permitido usar el dispositivo si el manejo del vehículo y la
situación del tráfico lo permiten.
Antes de comenzar a usar el dispositivo, asegúrese de que ni usted, ni
sus pasajeros ni ningún usuario de
la vía pública corra peligro, se vea
impedido o sufra alguna molestia.
Recuerde que siempre tienen vigencia las normas del código de circulación.
ff Use el dispositivo de modo que
pueda manejar el vehículo con
seguridad en todo momento. En
caso de duda, detenga el vehículo
para manejar el dispositivo mientras
está parado.
ff Tenga en cuenta que la sirena de la
policía, los bomberos y las ambulancias debe poder oírse a tiempo
desde el interior del vehículo. Por
eso, utilice el dispositivo siempre a
un volumen adecuado para manejar
el vehículo y para la situación del
tráfico.
ff El uso del sistema de navegación no
exime al conductor de la responsabilidad de comportarse siempre de
forma correcta y atenta. El conductor debe respetar siempre las normas del código de circulación. Si la
instrucción dada por el sistema de
navegación contradice las normas
del código de circulación, siempre
tienen prioridad estas últimas.
ff Es posible que la guía de ruta procedente del equipo no sea muy exacta.
Asegúrese de que todas las maniobras son legales y seguras a fin de
evitar accidentes.
Peligro de descarga eléctrica
o incendio
Si desmonta el dispositivo, puede
sufrir una descarga eléctrica o provocar un incendio.
No abra el dispositivo.
Funcionamiento incorrecto
No utilice el dispositivo si nota un
funcionamiento incorrecto como, por
ejemplo, que se congele la imagen o la
calidad del sonido sea mala. El uso
continuado de un sistema que no funciona correctamente puede causar
accidentes, incendios o descargas
eléctricas.
Nota importante:
En el modo standby, el dispositivo
puede llegar a descargar la batería si
no está en marcha el motor del vehículo.
Para más detalles al respecto, lea el
apartado “Encender y apagar el
equipo” (pág. 11).

ff Utilice únicamente cables de conexión y
dispositivos externos apropiados en cuestiones de seguridad, compatibilidad electromagnética y grado de blindaje.
ff El equipo no debe entrar en contacto con
objetos calientes o ardientes (p. ej. cigarrillos).
Nota:
Algunos píxeles de la pantalla son más
oscuros o más brillantes que otros.
Esta es una característica inherente a
la pantalla de cristal líquido y no se
debe a una falla de la misma.
3.1 Limpieza del equipo
ff A la hora de limpiar el equipo, no utilice
nunca objetos duros o afilados que puedan
dañar el panel protector o la caja.
ff No use tampoco productos de limpieza agresivos, tales como disolventes, bencina, productos de limpieza abrasivos o en spray,
soluciones ácidas o alcalinas o ceras.

ff No aplique ningún spray líquido sobre el
equipo.
ff Para limpiar la caja exterior y el panel protector/display, humedezca un paño suave con
agua tibia y elimine la suciedad con él. Asegúrese de que no penetra líquido en la pantalla. Después, repase con un paño limpio y
seco la superficie que acaba de limpiar.
Nota:
El polvo acumulado en el display puede
impedir el funcionamiento correcto de
la pantalla táctil. Si el equipo detecta
suciedad en el display, emitirá una
notificación al respecto. En tal caso,
limpie el display a fin de garantizar un
funcionamiento correcto de la pantalla
táctil.
4 Operación
4.1 Elementos de mando de la pantalla táctil
Nota importante:
No utilice objetos duros o puntiagudos
como bolígrafos o lapiceros para manejar la pantalla táctil.
Nota:
Las figuras de la pantalla y del panel
expuestas en este manual solo sirven
de referencia. Las figuras presentadas
en pantalla pueden diferir de las que
tiene realmente el equipo.
El equipo cuenta con una pantalla táctil en la
que se encuentran todos los elementos de
mando:
Para manejar un elemento de mando (p. ej. un
botón en pantalla), lo único que hay que hacer
es tocar suavemente sobre el área del display en
la que se encuentra. No es necesario ejercer
presión sobre la superficie del display.
4.1.1 Tocar la pantalla táctil
ff Con un toque corto: Un toque corto sobre la
superficie del dispolay es suficiente para
manejar casi todos los elementos de mando.
ff Con un toque largo: Algunas funciones
requieren un toque largo de la superficie del
display. En este caso, mantenga la punta del
dedo sobre la superficie del display durante
2 segundos.
4.1.2 Deslizar el dedo por la pantalla táctil
Algunas funciones requieren que se deslice el
dedo por la superficie del display; por ejemplo:
ff Para moverse por listas y pestañas

Toque en la barra de desplazamiento
para saltar al apartado de la lista que
quiera ver.
4.1.3 Ampliar (zoom) la vista del
mapa
Nota:
Esta función solo está disponible en los
equipos dotados de sistema de navegación.
Coloque la punta de dos dedos sobre el área de
la pantalla en la que se encuentra el mapa y
déjelos apoyados sobre la superficie. Después,
mueva los dedos acercándolos (reducir el
mapa) o separándolos (aumentar el mapa).
4.1.4 Desplazarse por el área visible del mapa
Nota:
Toque el área del display en el que se encuentra
el mapa y deje el dedo sobre ella. Después,
mueva el dedo por la superficie para desplazar
la sección mostrada del mapa.
4.2 Encender y apagar el equipo
4.2.1 Encender y apagar el equipo
El equipo se enciende automáticamente al
cambiar la ignición del vehículo de la posición
OFF a la posición ACC.
Una vez encendido el equipo, aparece el menú
Casa.
El equipo se apaga automáticamente al cambiar
la ignición del vehículo de la posición ACC a la
posición OFF.
Nota:
Si aparece la imagen para introducir el
PIN de seguridad, ingrese el PIN de
protección del dispositivo. Para más
detalles al respecto, lea el apartado
“Ingresar el PIN” (pág. 16).
4.2.2 Modo standby
Cuando el equipo está funcionando normalmente y no quiere apagarlo, puede dejarlo en
modo standby. En este modo, el sonido está
suprimido y la pantalla, apagada.
Para cambiar al modo standby,
ff toque prolongadamente en
1.
Para retornar al modo normal desde el modo
standby,
ff toque brevemente en 1.
En la pantalla se muestra la última imagen
activa.

ff Para ajustar controles deslizantes (p. ej. el
regulador del volumen)
Toque la superficie del display y deje el dedo
sobre ella. A continuación, desplace el dedo por
la superficie.

Nota:
Si se cambia de la posición ACC a la
posición OFF mientras el equipo se
halla en modo standby, al volver a la
posición ACC seguirá en modo standby. So toca en 1, se abre el menú
Casa.
Nota importante:
En el modo standby, el dispositivo
puede llegar a descargar la batería si
no está en marcha el motor del vehículo.
4.3 Regular el volumen
4.3.1 Aumentar/reducir el volumen
Para aumentar o reducir el volumen de forma
gradual,
ff toque la mitad superior o inferior del regulador 7.
Para aumentar o reducir el volumen de forma
continuada,

ff deslice el dedo hacia arriba o hacia abajo
sobre el regulador 7.
4.3.2 Desactivar el sonido del
equipo
Para desactivar el sonido del equipo cuando
está encendido,
ff toque brevemente en 1.
Para reactivar el sonido,
ff vuelva a tocar brevemente en 1.
4.4 Menú Casa
El menú Casa le da acceso a los principales
modos de operación:
ff Escuchar: Escuchar la radio y los medios de
reproducción
ff Llamada: Teléfono
ff Manejar: Navegación
ff Conectar: Integración de un smartphone
Nota:
Si su equipo no está dotado de sistema
de navegación, usted tendrá acceso a
estos modos de operación principales:
ff Radio: Escuchar la radio
ff Llamada: Teléfono
ff Medios: Reproducción multimedia
ff Conectar: Integración de un smartphone
Notas:
ff En la página web de Suzuki encontrará información acerca de los
smartphones compatibles con el
equipo.
ff Si su equipo no está dotado de
sistema de navegación, existe la
posibilidad de instalar posteriormente la función de navegación
(consulte el apartado “Instalación
posterior de la función de navegación” (pág. 52)). A este respecto,
contacte, por favor, con su proveedor Suzuki.
En la pantalla se muestra la información más
importante para cada modo de operación:
ff Escuchar:
–– Símbolo TA (prioridad para los mensajes
de tráfico)
–– Emisora actual o fuente multimedia (p. ej.
USB)
–– Detalles sobre el programa de radio seleccionado o el título multimedia (p. ej. frecuencia y nombre de la emisora o artista y
nombre del título)
ff Llamada:
–– Indicación del estado del teléfono (p. ej.
intensidad de la señal)
–– Indicación de llamada perdida
–– Nombre del proveedor de red
–– Nombre del teléfono móvil conectado
ff Manejar:
–– Nombre de la calle actual o de la siguiente
–– Distancia hasta la siguiente maniobra
–– Símbolo de la siguiente maniobra
–– Hora de llegada estimada
ff Conectar:
–– Tipo de integración del smartphone
Notas:
ff La prioridad para los mensajes de
tráfico y los nombres de las emisoras son funciones del servicio RDS y
deben ser soportadas en el área de
recepción o por la emisora seleccionada.
ff Los nombres del artista y el titulo
deben ser facilitados por la fuente
multimedia.

4.4.1 Abrir la pantalla de un modo
de operación principal
Para abrir la pantalla de un modo de operación
principal,
ff toque en el área del display correspondiente
a ese modo de operación.
Escuchar

Tocando en el área de la pantalla de los modos
de operación principales puede acceder a estas
funciones:
ff Escuchar: Abre el sintonizador activo o la
pantalla de audio/video
ff Llamada:

4.10.2Tarjeta SD
Insertar y quitar una tarjeta SD
Notas importantes:
ff No inserte nunca nada excepto
tarjetas SD en la ranura para tarjetas SD. De lo contrario podría
dañarse el equipo.
ff No ejerza nunca demasiada fuerza
al retirar la tarjeta SD, pues podría
dañarse la ranura o la propia tarjeta.
ff Cuando inserte una tarjeta SD en el
equipo, asegúrese de que entra
alineada y en la posición correcta (la
cara correcta debe estar mirando
hacia arriba y la tarjeta entra por el
extremo adecuado). Si ejerce fuerza
para insertar en la ranura una tarjeta
SD mal alineada y posicionada,
corre el riesgo de dañar la tarjeta y
la ranura.
ff Si aparece la notificación “Ninguna
tarjeta SD conectada”, aunque
usted ha insertado una tarjeta SD en

tarjeta SD no está despegada por
ningún sitio. De lo contrario podría
atascarse en la ranura o dejar partículas en el interior del equipo,

esté rota, deformada o reparada
con cinta adhesiva. El uso de una
tarjeta SD dañada puede estropear
el equipo.

Antes de insertar una tarjeta SD multimedia, es posible que tenga que retirar
la tarjeta SD que contiene los datos del
mapa del sistema de navegación.

navegación.
Para insertar una tarjeta SD,
ff deslice la tarjeta SD en la ranura 3 asegurándose de que la cara impresa está mirando
hacia arriba y los contactos apuntando hacia

En la pantalla aparece brevemente una notificación cuando el equipo detecta la tarjeta SD.

los dedos empujándola suavemente hacia la

El equipo guarda la información de los 10 últimos teléfonos móviles vinculados. Estos se
muestran en el menú Seleccionar dispositivo
Bluetooth.
Para conectar uno de los teléfonos mostrados
en dicha lista,
ff toque en la opción correspondiente del menú
Seleccionar dispositivo Bluetooth.
Si el proceso de conexión finaliza satisfactoriamente, el teléfono móvil se conecta con el
equipo.
Borrar un teléfono móvil vinculado
Para borrar un teléfono móvil vinculado,

El teléfono seleccionado se desvincula y se
borra de la lista.

Este equipo está dotado de receptor de radio
RDS. Algunas emisoras FM transmiten una señal
que no solo contiene el programa de radio sino
también información adicional como, por ejemplo, el nombre de la emisora. Dicho nombre
aparece en la pantalla tan pronto como el sintonizador lo recibe.

interés:

7.2.3 Seleccionar un punto de interés

El tipo de carretera y transporte elegido está

7.12Sus propios puntos de interés
Además de los puntos de interés guardados en
los datos de navegación, también puede guardar
en el equipo sus propios puntos de interés y
avisos al respecto.
Los avisos de puntos de interés pueden contener, por ejemplo, la ubicación de curvas muy
cerradas.
7.12.1Formato de datos
El archivo que contenga sus propios puntos de
interés debe ser conforme con el estándar
WGS84.
El formato de archivo requerido es “.csv”.
Cada línea del archivo puede describir un punto
de interés con la siguiente información:

ff Nombre
ff Dirección (opcional)
ff Número de teléfono (opcional)

Estableciendo una estructura de carpetas adecuada puede crear hasta cuatro niveles adicionales de categorías y subcategorías. El nombre
de una carpeta será reconocido como el nombre

INFORMÁTICO ASOCIADO, LOS MEDIOS Y LA
DOCUMENTACIÓN EXPLICATIVA IMPRESA
PUBLICADA POR HERE (CONJUNTAMENTE
“BASE DE DATOS”). CON EL USO DE LA BASE
DE DATOS USTED ACEPTA Y RECONOCE
TODOS LOS TÉRMINOS Y CONDICIONES DE
ESTE CONTRATO DE LICENCIA DE USUARIO
FINAL (“CONTRATO”). SI NO RECONOCE LOS
TÉRMINOS DE ESTE CONTRATO, DEVUELVA LO
ANTES POSIBLE LA BASE DE DATOS, JUNTO
CON TODOS LOS ELEMENTOS QUE LO ACOMPAÑAN, A SU PROVEEDOR PARA UN REEMBOLSO.
PROPIEDAD
La Base de datos y los derechos de autor y de
propiedad intelectual o derechos conexos son
propiedad de HERE y sus concesores de licencias. La propiedad de los medios que contienen
la Base de datos la conserva HERE y/o su proveedor hasta que usted haya efectuado la totalidad de los pagos adeudados a HERE y/o su
proveedor en virtud del presente Contrato o
acuerdos similares bajo los que se le haya suministrado la Base de datos.
CONCESIÓN DE LICENCIA
HERE le concede una licencia no exclusiva para
hacer un uso personal de la Base de datos personal o, dado el caso, para usarla en operaciones internas de su negocio. Esta licencia no
incluye el derecho de conceder sublicencias.
LIMITACIONES DE USO
El uso de la Base de datos está restringido al
sistema para el que fue creada. Excepto en los
casos expresamente permitidos por las leyes
vigentes (p. ej. leyes nacionales basadas en la
Directiva europea sobre software (91/250) y la
Directiva sobre bases de datos (96/9)), usted
no está autorizado a extraer y/o volver a usar
partes sustanciales del contenido de la Base de
datos ni a reproducir, copiar, modificar, adaptar,
traducir, desensamblar, descompilar o realizar
ingeniería inversa en cualquier parte de la Base
de datos. Si desea obtener información e interoperabilidad en el sentido de la Directiva europea
sobre software (o las leyes nacionales basadas
en ella), el usuario debe dar a HERE la oportunidad de proveer dicha información en condicio-
nes razonables, incluyendo los gastos, que
determinará HERE.
La Base de datos incluye información de terceras partes suministrada con licencia de HERE, la
cual está sujeta a las condiciones y derechos de

TRANSFERENCIA DE LICENCIA
Usted no tiene derecho a transferir la Base de
datos a terceros, excepto si está instalada en el
sistema para el que fue creada o si no conserva
ninguna copia de la Base de datos y siempre que
el receptor de la transferencia acepte todos los
términos y condiciones de este Acuerde y se lo
confirme por escrito a HERE. Los juegos de
varios discos solo podrán ser vendidos o transferidos como el juego completo que fue suministrado por HERE y no como una parte de él.
GARANTÍA LIMITADA
HERE garantiza que, sujeto a las advertencias
abajo expuestas, por un periodo de 12 meses a
partir de la adquisición de la copia de la Base de
datos, esta funcionará correctamente de
acuerdo con los criterios de exactitud e integridad de HERE existentes en la fecha en la que se
adquirió la Base de datos; dichos criterios
podrán solicitarse a HERE. Si la Base de datos
no funciona de conformidad con esta garantía
limitada, HERE hará todos los esfuerzos posi-

bles para reparar o reemplazar la copia defectuosa de la Base de datos. Si esos esfuerzos no
llevan a un rendimiento de la Base de datos
conforme con las garantías aquí establecidas,
usted tendrá la opción de o bien recibir un reembolso razonable del precio pagado por la Base
de datos o de rescindir este Contrato. Esta es la
única responsabilidad por parte de HERE y el
único recurso posible contra HERE. A excepción
de lo incluido expresamente en este apartado,
HERE no garantiza ni asume ninguna responsabilidad ante el uso o el resultado del uso de la
Base de datos en lo que respecta a su corrección, exactitud, fiabilidad u otras características. HERE no garantiza que la Base de datos
esté o vaya a estar libre de errores. Ninguna
información oral o escrita o notificación proporcionada por HERE, su proveedor o cualquier
otra persona podrá entenderse como una garantía ni ampliar en modo alguno el alcance de la
garantía limitada descrita anteriormente. La
garantía limitada establecida en este Contrato
no afecta ni perjudica a ninguno de los derechos
legales que usted pudiera tener en virtud de la
garantía legal contra defectos ocultos.
En caso de no adquirir la Base de datos directamente de HERE, usted puede hacer valer sus
derechos legales contra la persona a la que le
adquirió la Base de datos, además de los derechos aquí garantizados por HERE conforme a la
ley vigente en su jurisdicción. La anterior garan-
tía ofrecida por HERE no afectará a los derechos
legales y usted puede hacer valer esos derechos
además de los derechos aquí garantizados.
LIMITACIÓN DE RESPONSABILIDAD
El precio de la Base de datos no incluye ninguna
consideración de asunción de riesgo de daños
consecuentes, indirectos o directos ilimitados
que puedan surgir en relación con el uso de la
Base de datos. Por consiguiente, en ningún caso
HERE se hace responsable de los daños consecuentes o indirectos, incluyendo sin limitaciones, pérdidas de ingresos, datos o uso, sufridos
por usted o por cualquier tercero y derivados
del uso de la Base de datos, ya sea en una
acción bajo contrato o acto ilícito o basado en
una garantía, aunque se haya advertido a HERE
de la posibilidad de dichos daños. En cualquier
caso, la responsabilidad de HERE ante daños
directos se limita al precio de la copia de la Base
de datos.
LA GARANTÍA LIMITADA Y LA LIMITACIÓN DE
RESPONSABILIDAD, ESTABLECIDAS EN ESTE
CONTRATO, NO AFECTAN NI PERJUDICAN LOS
DERECHOS LEGALES DEL USUARIO, SIEMPRE
QUE HUBIERA ADQUIRIDO LA BASE DE DATOS
CON FINES NO COMERCIALES.

La Base de datos podría contener información
imprecisa o incompleta debido al paso del
tiempo, al cambio de circunstancias, a las fuen-
tes utilizadas y a la recopilación de datos geográficos completos, situaciones que podrían
derivar en resultados incorrectos. La Base de
datos no incluye ni refleja información sobre,
entre otros, seguridad vecinal, aplicación de la
ley, asistencia de emergencia, trabajos de construcción, cierres de carreteras o de carriles,
pendientes de carretera, altura de puentes,
límites de peso o de otro tipo, condiciones de la
carretera, eventos especiales que dependen del
tipo de sistema de navegación que usted posea.
LEGISLACIÓN APLICABLE
Este Contrato se rige por las leyes de la jurisdicción en la que usted resida a fecha de adquisición de la Base de datos. En caso de que en
dicho momento resida fuera de la Unión Europea o Suiza, se aplicará la ley de la jurisdicción
de la Unión Europea o Suiza en la que adquirió la
Base de datos. En el resto de casos, o si no es
posible definir la jurisdicción en la que adquirió
la Base de datos, se aplicarán las leyes de los
Países Bajos. Los jurados competentes en su
lugar de residencia en el momento en el que
usted adquirió la Base de datos tendrán jurisdicción sobre cualquier disputa derivada de este
Contrato o relacionada con él, sin perjuicio
sobre el derecho de HERE de trasladar sus
reclamaciones a su lugar de residencia actual.

Important information
Road safety
ff Operating the device is only permitted when the driving and traffic
situation allow you to do so. Before
starting to use the device, make
sure that you, your passengers and
other road users are not put in
danger, hindered or inconvenienced. The road traffic regulations
apply at all times.
ff The device has to be used so that
the vehicle can be driven safely at all
times. If in doubt, stop your vehicle
and operate the device while the
vehicle is stationary.
ff You must always be able to hear
police, fire service and ambulance
sirens in good time from inside your
vehicle. For this reason, when using
your device, make sure the volume
is set at a level that is appropriate
for the particular driving and traffic
situation.
ff The usage of the navigation system
does not absolve the driver of the
responsibility of a correct and vigilant attitude. The relevant traffic
regulations must always be followed. If a navigation instruction
contradicts traffic regulations, the
traffic regulations always apply.
ff The route guidance provided by the
device may not be completely accurate. Ensure that all driving manoeuvres are legal and safe in order to
avoid accidents.
Risk of electrical shock or
fire
If you disassemble the device, it might
result in electrical shock or fire.
Do not open the device.
Malfunctions
Do not use the device if you notice any
malfunctions such as a frozen screen or
poor audio quality. Continued use of a
malfunctioning system may result in
accidents, fire or electrical shock.
Important note:
In standby mode, the device may drain
the battery when the vehicle’s engine is
not running.

external devices in regard to safety, electromagnetic compatibility and grade of shielding.

Note:
Some pixels in the display are darker or
brighter than others. This condition is
an inherent characteristic of liquid
crystal displays, and it is not a malfunction.
3.1 Cleaning information
ff To clean the device, never use hard or sharp
objects that could damage the protective
pane or housing.
ff Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, such
as thinners, benzine, abrasive cleaners,
spray cleaners, acidic or alkaline solutions, or
wax.
ff Do not spray any liquids onto the device.
ff To clean the housing and protective pane /
display, moisten a soft cloth with tepid water
and wipe off the dirt. Make sure that no liquid
enters the inside of the display. Afterwards,
wipe the cleaned surface with a clean, dry
cloth.

4 Operation
You do not need to exert pressure on the display
surface.
4.1 Touchscreen controls
4.1.1 Tapping
ff Short tap: A short tap on the display surface
is sufficient to operate most controls.
ff Long tap: Some functions require a long tap.
In this case, keep your fingertip on the display surface for around 2 seconds.
Important note:
Do not use pointed or hard items such
as ball-point pens or pencils for touch
screen operation.

The device is equipped with a touchscreen that
provides all the controls:
4.1.2 Swiping
Some functions require you to swipe your finger
over the display surface, e.g.:

Touch the display surface and let your finger rest
on the surface. Then move your finger over the
surface.

on-screen button, all you need to do is gently
touch the relevant area of the display surface.

you switch the vehicle’s ignition lock from ACC
to OFF.

4.2.2 Standby mode
When the device is switched on, you can switch
it to standby mode. In standby mode, the device
is muted and the display is turned off.

4.10.2SD card
Inserting and removing an SD card
Important notes:
ff Never insert anything other than an
SD card into the SD card slot. Doing
so could damage the device.
ff Never use excessive force when
removing an SD card or else the
card slot or the card itself may be
damaged.
ff When inserting an SD card into the
device, make sure the card is
aligned and positioned correctly
(the correct side must be facing
upwards, and you must insert the
correct end of the card). If you use
force to insert an incorrectly aligned
and positioned SD card into the
slot, you may damage the card and
the slot.
ff If the “No Card” notification appears
in the display despite your having
inserted an SD card into the SD card
slot, this means that the device
does not recognize the card for
some reason. Try removing the card
and inserting it again. Please bear in
mind, however, that some SD cards
may not be compatible with this
device.
ff Ensure the label on the SD card is
fully attached. Otherwise the SD
card may become stuck in the slot
or particles from the label may be
left inside the device leading to the
possible failure of SD-card functionality.
ff Do not use an SD card that has been
cracked, deformed or repaired
using adhesive tape. Use of a damaged SD card may damage the
device.
Note:
If your device is equipped with a navigation system:
If you want to insert a media SD card,
you may have to remove the SD card
containing the navigation system’s map
data first.
As long as the SD card containing the
navigation system’s map data is
removed, you will not be able to use the
navigation function.
To insert an SD card,

Connecting an already paired mobile phone
The device stores the information for the 10 previously paired mobile phones. These mobile
phones are displayed in the Select Bluetooth
device menu.
To connect a mobile phone shown in this list,
ff tap the relevant item in the Select Bluetooth
device menu.
If connection setup was successful, the mobile
phone will connect to the device.
Deleting a paired mobile phone
To delete a paired mobile phone,
ff tap
9 in the corresponding item of the
Select Bluetooth device menu.
The selected mobile phone is unpaired and
deleted from the list.
Notes:
ff If the mobile phone is unpaired
during an active call, the call is
interrupted. The call can then be
continued on the mobile phone if
the mobile phone supports this.

its phone book and call lists are also
deleted from the device.

This device is equipped with an RDS radio
receiver. Many FM stations transmit a signal that
not only carries the radio programme but also
information like the station name. The station

7.12Your own points of interest
In addition to the points of interest stored in the
navigation data, you can also store your own

on the device.

The name of the csv file represents the name of
the point of interest category. When setting up a
csv file, be sure to insert only points of interest
that belong to the same category and use the
name of the category as the file name.
You may create up to four additional levels of
categories and subcategories if you create a
corresponding folder structure. The name of a
folder will be recognised as the name of the
corresponding category or subcategory.
Notes:
ff The csv file or the top-level folder
that represents a top-level category
must be stored inside a folder
named “myPOIs”. Place this folder
in the root directory of a USB storage device.
ff A csv file that contains POI warnings
must be stored inside the folder
“myPOIs” or any of its subfolders.
The name of this file must begin
with “myPOIWarnings_” and end
with “.csv” (for example: “myPOIWarnings_Curves.csv”). Otherwise
the POI warnings cannot be displayed.
7.12.2Loading your own points of
interest onto the device

When you load a new file, any of your
own points of interest that are already
stored on the device will be deleted.

END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
PLEASE READ THIS END USER LICENSE
AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE
HERE DATABASE
NOTICE TO THE USER
THIS IS A LICENSE AGREEMENT - AND NOT AN
AGREEMENT FOR SALE – BETWEEN YOU AND
HERE EUROPE B.V. (“HERE”) FOR YOUR COPY
OF THE HERE NAVIGABLE MAP DATABASE,
INCLUDING ASSOCIATED COMPUTER SOFTWARE, MEDIA AND EXPLANATORY PRINTED
DOCUMENTATION PUBLISHED BY HERE
(JOINTLY ”THE DATABASE”). BY USING THE
DATABASE, YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO ALL
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS END USER
LICENSE AGREEMENT (”AGREEMENT”). IF YOU
DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, PROMPTLY RETURN THE DATABASE,
ALONG WITH ALL OTHER ACCOMPANYING
ITEMS, TO YOUR SUPPLIER FOR A REFUND.
OWNERSHIP
The Database and the copyrights and intellectual property or neighboring rights therein are
owned by HERE and its licensors. Ownership of
the media on which the Database is contained is
retained by HERE and/or your supplier until you
have paid in full any amounts due to HERE and/
or your supplier pursuant to this Agreement or
similar agreement(s) under which the Database
is provided to you.

LICENSE GRANT
HERE grants you a non-exclusive license to use
the Database for your personal use or, if applicable, for use in your business’ internal operations.
This license does not include the right to grant
sub-licenses.
LIMITATIONS ON USE
The Database is restricted for use in the specific
system for which it was created. Except to the
extent explicitly permitted by mandatory laws
(e.g. national laws based on the European Software Directive (91/250) and the Database
Directive (96/9)), you may not extract or reutilize substantial parts of the contents of the Database nor reproduce, copy, modify, adapt, translate, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer
any portion of the Database. If you wish to
obtain interoperability information as meant in
(the national laws based on) the European
Software Directive, you shall grant HERE reasonable opportunity to provide said information on
reasonable terms, including costs, to be determined by HERE.
The Database includes information provided
under license to HERE from third parties and is
subject to the supplier terms and copyright
notices set forth at the following URL:

TRANSFER OF LICENSE
You may not transfer the Database to third parties, except when installed in the system for
which it was created or when you do not retain
any copy of the Database, and provided that the
transferee agrees to all terms and conditions of
this Agreement and confirms this in writing to
HERE. Multi-disc sets may only be transferred or
sold as a complete set as provided by HERE and
not as subset thereof.
LIMITED WARRANTY
HERE warrants that, subject to the warnings set
out below, for a period of 12 months after acquisition of your copy of the Database, it will perform substantially in accordance with HERE’s
Criteria for Accuracy and Completeness existing
on the date you acquired the Database; these
criteria are available from HERE at your request.
If the Database does not perform in accordance
with this limited warranty, HERE will use reasonable efforts to repair or replace your nonconforming copy of the Database. If these efforts do
not lead to performance of the Database in
accordance with the warranties set out herein,
you will have the option to either receive a reasonable refund of the price you paid for the
Database or to rescind this Agreement. This
shall be HERE’s entire liability and your sole remedy against HERE. Except as expressly provided
in this section, HERE does not warrant nor make
any representations regarding the use of results
of the use of the Database in terms of its correctness, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise.
HERE does not warrant that the Database is or
will be error free. No oral or written information
or advice provided by HERE, your supplier or
any other person shall create a warranty or in
any way increase the scope of the limited warranty described above. The limited warranty set
forth in this Agreement does not affect or prejudice any statutory legal rights that you may have
under the legal warranty against hidden defects.
If you did not acquire the Database from HERE
directly, you may have statutory rights against
the person from whom you have acquired the
Database in addition to the rights granted by
HERE hereunder according to the law of your
jurisdiction. The above warranty of HERE shall
not affect such statutory rights and you may
assert such rights in addition to the warranty
rights granted herein.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The price of the Database does not include any
consideration for assumption of risk of consequential, indirect or unlimited direct damages
which may arise in connection with your use of
the Database. Accordingly, in no event shall
HERE be liable for any consequential or indirect
damages, including without limitation, loss of
revenue, data, or use, incurred by you or any
third party arising out of your use of the Database, whether in an action in contract or tort or

GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of
the jurisdiction, in which you reside at the date
of acquisition of the Database. Should you at
that moment reside outside the European Union
or Switzerland, the law of the jurisdiction within
the European Union or Switzerland where you
acquired the Database shall apply. In all other
cases, or if the jurisdiction where you acquired
the Database cannot be defined, the laws of the
Netherlands shall apply. The courts competent
at your place of residence at the time you
acquired the Database shall have jurisdiction
over any dispute arising out of, or relating to this
Agreement, without prejudice to HERE’ right to
bring claims at your then current place of residence.

any event HERE’s liability for direct damages is
limited to the price of your copy of the Database.
THE LIMITED WARRANTY AND LIMITATION OF
LIABILITY, SET FORTH IN THIS AGREEMENT, DO
NOT AFFECT OR PREJUDICE YOUR STATUTORY
RIGHTS WHERE YOU HAVE ACQUIRED THE
DATABASE OTHERWISE THAN IN THE COURSE
OF A BUSINESS.
WARNINGS
The Database may contain inaccurate or incomplete information due to the passage of time,
changing circumstances, sources used and the
nature of collecting comprehensive geographic
data, any of which may lead to incorrect results.
The Database does not include or reflect information on - inter alia - travel time and may not
include neighborhood safety; law enforcement;
emergency assistance; construction work; road
or lane closures; road slope or grade; bridge
height, weight or other limits; road conditions;
special events depending on the navigation
system brand you possess.
