Sacrament of Baptism: Parents must be registered members of the parish for at least three months and be practicing Catholics. A meeting with the Pastor is required followed by attendance at the preparation class if its your first child or its been more than three years since you last attended a Baptismal class. Call the office to start the process. Please do not set any dates or make other arrangements until you meet with Father. Under normal circumstances Baptisms will take place on the first Saturday of the month. Sacrament of Marriage: Must be registered and participating parishioners. Diocesan policy is that a period of six months be allowed for preparation. Please do not set a date until you have met with the pastor. Sacraments for the Sick: When ill health or age prevent you from receiving the Sacraments, please inform us of your needs and location whether at home, in a care facility or hospital. We are only able to serve you when YOU request the parish office to do so. Anointing of the Sick is for people who are ill, facing surgery, or advanced in years. It should be celebrated before entry into the hospital if possible. Please call the Parish Office to make arrangements with the pastor as soon as you know you have a need for this Sacrament. ANTHONY OF PADUA ♦ IN THE DIOCESE OF RALEIGH 27 DE MARZO DE 2016 ♦ SAN ANTONIO DE PADUA La Divina Misericordia El 3 de abril Domingo, es la festividad a la Divina Misericordia, por tal motivo, la misa se llevará a cabo a la 1:00pm. Muy importante también para los padres con hijos en la doctrina; solo por este domingo 3 de abril, las clases serán a las 3:00 pm en la iglesia con la intención de que todos los niños participen en esta gran celebración. El mensaje no es nada nuevo, es sólo un recordatorio de lo que la Iglesia siempre ha enseñado: que Dios es misericordioso, que Él perdona, y que nosotros también debemos ser misericordiosos y perdonar. Pero en la devoción a la Divina Misericordia este mensaje asume un nuevo enfoque poderoso, ya que nos llama a una comprensión más profunda de que el amor de Dios no tiene límites y que está disponible a todos, especialmente al pecador más grande: Cuanto más grande es el pecador, tanto más grande es el derecho que tiene a Mi Misericordia (Diario, 723). Algunos de los elementos de este nuevo enfoque incluye una imagen sagrada del Salvador Misericordioso, varias oraciones nuevas y una abundancia de promesas. Pero los elementos principales son: la confianza y las obras de misericordia. La historia del origen y de la difusión del mensaje de la Divina Misericordia y de su devoción por todo el mundo, resulta ser fascinante. Comprende apariciones y revelaciones extraordinarias, respuestas milagrosas a oraciones, una escapada dramática de una Polonia devastada por la guerra, una prohibición temporal del culto por la Iglesia y el fuerte apoyo del Papa Juan Pablo II, que muy probablemente será llamado por los historiadores "el Papa de la Misericordia." Las tres "S" de la Misericordia Oración para obtener la Divina Misericordia¡ Oh Dios de gran misericordia! bondad infinita, hoy toda la humanidad clama, desde el abismo de su miseria, a Tu misericordia, a Tu compasión, oh Dios; y grita con la potente voz de la miseria. Dios indulgente, no rechaces la oración de los desterrados de esta tierra. Oh Señor, bondad inconcebible que conoces perfectamente nuestra miseria y sabes que por nuestras propias fuerzas no podemos ascender hasta Ti, Te imploramos, anticípanos Tu gracia y multiplica incesantemente Tu misericordia en nosotros para que cumplamos fielmente Tu santa voluntad a lo largo de nuestras vidas y a la hora de la muerte. Que la omnipotencia de Tu misericordia nos proteja de las flechas de los enemigos de nuestra salvación, para que con confianza, como Tus hijos, esperemos Tu última venida, ese día que conoces sólo Tú. Y a pesar de toda nuestra miseria, esperamos recibir todo lo que Jesús nos ha prometido, porque Jesús es nuestra esperanza; a través de Su Corazón misericordioso, como a través de una puerta abierta, entramos en el cielo (Diario de Santa Faustina, 1570). Por favor tome nota… No Habrá misa el miércoles 30 de marzo. El Padre Andrés tomará un breve descanso. Año Jubilar de la Misericordia Este es el día en que actuó el Señor, sea nuestra alegría y nuestro gozo. ¡Aleluya! En este Año Jubilar de la Misericordia la Pascua continua siendo la victoria de Dios misericordioso que levanta a Jesús “el testigo fiel, el primogénito de los muertos y el soberano de los reyes de la tierra” (Apocalipsis 1:5), “el primogénito entre muchos hermanos” (Romanos 8:29), venciendo a la muerte en todas sus formas, en todos nos nosotros en la familia humana. En el Evangelio de la Vigilia, este año el de Lucas, mensajeros celestiales enviaron a las mujeres a anunciar (24:6). En el Evangelio de Juan, la tumba vacía igualmente “envía” a María Magdalena, Pedro y el Discípulo Amado, quienes creían aunque no entendían plenamente. Por último, en la tarde de este domingo de Pascua, el Evangelio de Lucas que cuenta la historia de Emaús, nos envía como “misioneros de misericordia”, asegurándonos que encontraremos al Señor Resucitado, hoy y cada día en “la persona desconocida” que encontramos en nuestro camino de la vida, en la “Palabra que hace que arda nuestros corazones” y “al partir el pan” (ver Lucas 24:32, 35). —Peter Scagnelli, Copyright © J. S. Paluch Co., Inc. TRADICIONES DE NUESTRA FE Hace casi dos mil años María Magdalena fue muy de mañana al sepulcro de Jesús. Fue a rezar como muchos hacemos ante la tumba de un ser amado. Esa mañana ella se convertiría en apóstol de los apóstoles, primera testigo de Jesús resucitado de entre los muertos. Siglos después el testimonio de la Magdalena sigue siendo importante en la historia cristiana. Durante estos días en Anguiano, España, hombres y jóvenes de las viejas familias de la zona bailan y caminan con una pequeña imagen de la Magdalena. Se visten con camisas y faldones largos de muchos colores, mostrando la belleza de la diversidad hispana. Ellos bailan en honor de esa santa mujer de Magdala y lo hacen sobre andas de casi un metro de altura. Ellos toman la imagen desde la iglesia de su pueblo en las montañas en el norte del país y la llevan bailando por las calles empedradas bajando al santuario que han preparado para ella.
