La Asociación Argentina de Tribología convoca a interesados en
presentar ponencias en su reunión bianual: 3° International Workshop of
Tribology - Mar del Plata 2015.
El objetivo del evento es reunir a especialistas de las distintas ramas de la
Tribología (fricción, lubricación y desgaste), tanto del ámbito académico
(docentes-investigadores y estudiantes de posgrado) como de la industria,
en un espacio de exposición e intercambio de experiencias en temas
vinculados con esta disciplina.
El evento se desarrollará con un esquema similar al de los anteriores,
incluyendo la participación de conferencistas plenarios provenientes del
exterior del país, como también presentaciones orales, las cuales pueden
ser trabajos científicos, técnicos o análisis de fallas, en ponencias de 20
minutos de duración o bien presentados en forma de póster. NO SE
ADMITIRÁN PRESENTACIONES CON CONTENIDO COMERCIAL.
The Argentine Association of Tribology is calling to submit papers to be
presented during the annual meeting: 3rd Workshop of Tribology - Mar del
Plata 2015.
The event aims to bring together specialists from different branches of
tribology (lubrication, mechanical wear, friction), from the academic
community (proffesors, researchers and post-graduate students) to
industry engineers, in an environment of presentation and exchange of
experiences on issues related to this discipline.

El evento se desarrollará los días 13 y 14 de mayo próximo de 9 a 18 hs. en
los salones Topacio y Aguamarina del Hotel 13 de Julio, ciudad de Mar del
Plata.

CONFERENCISTAS PLENARIOS
PLENARY SPEAKERS
Esteban Broitman: Full Professor at the Thin-Film Physics Division,
Department of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at Linköping University,
Sweden, and head of the Tribology Laboratory. His research activities focus
on the physical properties of thin films deposited by vapor-phase
deposition, in particular, microstructure evolution, mechanical and
tribological properties. He particular interest is in the area of carbon-based
coatings.

Julio Neves: Materials Science Professor of the Mechanical Engineering
Department at Federal University of Technology-Paraná (UTFPR) in
Curitiba, Brazil. He is one of the founders of Surface and Contact Lab and
Plasma Lab at UTFPR. Since the early 2000's he has been working with
contact fatigue, having received his Ph.D. from University of São Paulo in
2006. His activities were particularly focused on contact fatigue of ductile
cast irons and on the development of the rolling contact fatigue test itself.
