During this time of restoration of our church,
Confessions will be heard Saturday from 4:00 PM
until 5:00 PM in the basement of our auditorium.
You are also welcome at the rectory during
office hours for confessions. Please take home a
copy of our bulletin to see the office hours.
CATECHETICAL SUNDAY
Catechesis is a distinct and special ministry in the
Church. “Catechesis is intimately bound up with the
whole of the Church’s life...her inner growth and correspondence with God’s plan depend essentially on catechesis” (CCC#7). This ministry of teaching in the name of
the Church has a profound dignity which is why catechists are formally commissioned by the Church. It is
only fitting that we let aside a day to highlight this ministry and invite the entire Church community to think about
our responsibility to share our Faith with others. (USCCB)
Our Diocese celebrates catechetical Sunday this weekend.
We pray for our catechists as they begin this new year of
service.
The theme for this year is:
“Safeguarding the Dignity of Every Human Person”.

DECLARACIÓN DE LA MISIÓN DE NUESTRA PARROQUIA
La parroquia Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, con María, Madre de Jesús, Mujer de fe y perseverancia, busca vivir plenamente como
miembros de la Iglesia y seguidores de Jesús. Nuestra vida como comunidad creciente de adoración, de la palabra y de servicio fluye de
nuestra celebración de la Eucaristía. La herencia de laicos dedicados en compañía de nuestros sacerdotes y religiosos hace que nuestro
llamado al discipulado sea de servicio, corresponsabilidad y evangelización. Nuestra diversidad cultural trae riqueza y vitalidad a nuestra
vida de sacramento y oración.
Sacramento de Confesión
Durante este tiempo de restauración de
nuestro templo las confesiones son los sábados
desde las 4:00 de la tarde hasta las 5:00 de la tarde
en el Sótano del auditorio. Usted puede también ir
a la oficina parroquial durante horas laborales para
confesarse. Favor de llevar a su hogar una
copia de nuestro boletín parroquial para el
horario de nuestra oficina.
Catequesis del Papa Francisco
El primer jueves de cada mes el Padre Raymond
está ofreciendo formación para todos los feligreses
que desean crecer y acercarse más a Jesús para
seguir caminando con El. Esta catequesis es sobre
nuestro Santo Papa Francisco. La próxima clase
será el jueves 1 de octubre comenzando a las 7:00
de la noche en la carpa.
DESAYUNO PARA RECAUDAR FONDOS
Invitamos a todos nuestros feligreses a un
desayuno para recaudar fondos.
Este desayuno será el domingo 11 de octubre
a partir de las 7:00 de la mañana en el
sótano de nuestro auditorio.

DOMINGO CATEQUETICO
La catequesis es un ministerio distinto y especial
en la Iglesia. “La catequesis está unida íntimamente a toda la vida de la Iglesia...su crecimiento
interior, su correspondencia con el designio de
Dios dependen esencialmente de ella” (CIC #7).
“Este ministerio de enseñar en nombre de la Iglesia tiene una profunda dignidad, y es por ello que
los catequistas son comisionados formalmente por
la Iglesia. Por tanto, es natural que reservemos un
día para resaltar este ministerio e invitar a toda la
comunidad de la Iglesia a pensar en nuestra responsabilidad de compartir nuestra fe con otros”.

“Domingo Catequético”. Rezamos por todos los
catequistas al iniciar este nuevo año de servicio.
