Técnicas Reunidas receives the letter of awarding for a refinery

Técnicas Reunidas receives the letter of awarding for a
refinery complex in Russia
TR has receives the letter of awarding of the Oil Company “Alliance” for the
execution of a new hydrocracking complex at the Khabarovsk refinery in the
Russian Federation.
The construction of this complex will increase the total production capacity of
the refinery from 3.2 to 3.5 million tons per year, and it will increase the
annual production capacity of diesel and low sulphur kerosene by 1.6 million
tons, thereby reaching the specifications required for export.
The customer’s investment in this project as a whole is initially valued at 800
million dollars. The signing of the contract, which is in the negotiation phase,
is forecast for the moth of November. For this reason the sum of the final
contract has not been established.
The project would include the engineering, supply and construction of all the
process units: hydrocracking, hydrotreatment, hydrogen, amine regeneration,
acid water and sulphur recovery, as well as the auxiliary systems of the
complex.
It is forecasted that the project would end at the start of 2011.
