With the impetus and drive of his son Armando Mozota 2, who is the company’s current managing director, the Mozota family acquired complete control of the company, taking it from strength to strength and inaugurating, in 1997, its new 2,600 m2 plant. The third generation is the company’s present and future. The third Armando in the saga embarked upon his professional career while still studying a degree in engineering, combining his academic work with learning the trade. He currently holds the post of factory manager and his challenge is to modernize the company, to come up with new, fresh ideas for managing and transforming the company’s whole range of CNC machines. Today the company chiefly works for the automotive industry, although it is also making strong inroads into the defence sector and manufactures for other sectors too, such as the food industry, electronics, hydraulic valves, lifts or car washes. 4 am2 Most of its production (around 80%) is exported to such diverse countries as France, Poland, Italy, Brazil, Germany, Sweden or Portugal. Joarjo is backed by ISO 9001 and 14001 certification and more recently it has been awarded ISO TS 16949 certification, a standard that has meant a considerable improvement in the current quality system in placed in the organization, which has been improved and reinforced to guarantee the products we supply to our customers. Joarjo has received accolades as satisfying as that of “Collaborating Entity in Equal Opportunities for Women and Men”, awarded by the Women’s Institute of Aragon. Furthermore, in 2001 it was awarded “Best European Supplier” by the multinational company Hutchinson that belongs to the TOTAL-FINAL-ELF group.
