Trash Collection
Trash is collected one time per week and collection day depends on where you live in the
City. Make sure your trash is placed curbside
the night before your collection day. MISSED

Bulk Waste Collection
J.P. Mascaro & Sons does not collect bulk waste.
Bulk waste collection is offered to all residential
properties by the City. Residents are required to
place items out and then call the City for a pickup. Please allow sufficient time for bulk waste
pick-up which is 3-5 workdays or sooner. There
is a limit of six (6) household items per pick-up.
Building materials are not acceptable for bulkwaste collection. Contact Information: Bulk

Single-Stream Recycling:
Recyclables should be placed at the same location from which your regular trash is collected.
Collection begins at 7:00 am, every
Wednesday. If a major holiday is observed during any week, recyclables should be held until
the following Wednesday.

Yard Waste Drop-off Site
There is no city-wide yard waste collection.
Indiviual residents can drop off their yard
waste at the Delaware County Compost Farm.
The site is open the third Wednesday of each
month through September from 7:00 am to
4:00 pm. The site is located in Chester
Township at the address below.

ALERT!
DISPOSAL BAN: State law prohibits resi-
dents from putting covered devices
such as televisions, desktop and
laptop computers, monitors, keyboard and anything that connects
to a computer out for trash collection. Retail
stores like BestBuy® and Staples® accept ewaste, no purchase necessary, with certain
restrictions. Call a local store or check their
websites for specifics.

Recycling Containers
Containers for all City households are available
to be picked up at City Hall, 1 Fourth Street,
from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Call 610-447-7740 to
schedule a time to receive one.

Holidays: New Year’s Day (January 1), Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4), Labor Day,
