Introducing Champions
Our New K-5 Afterschool Program for 2016-2017 School Year.
Luna Primary is very excited to be partnering up with Champions as our newest after school program for Kindergarten
through 5th Grade. Along with offering an excellent program that aligns itself with our curriculum, Champions offers
flexible scheduling, healthy snack, and a licensed well trained staff.
Please see the attached flyer for more details. We will have a representative from Champions on our campus every
Tuesday from 10:00am – 1:00pm during the summer to help with applications and to answer any questions that you may

Important Reminders
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL: This Thursday, May 26th, is the Last Day of School! We hope you
have a fun safe summer, and look forward to seeing you back next school year!
SUMMER OFFICE HOURS: Our office hours will be Monday through Thursday from 9:00am3:00pm and Fridays from 9:00am – 12:00pm
PROMOTION CEREMONY: On May 25th at 11:30am we will be having our 5th Grade
Promotion Ceremony. Make sure you come and celebrate with our scholars!
COFFEE WITH THE DIRECTOR: Come to the school between 8:30-9:30am on May 25th &
May 31st to have coffee with our new School Director, Alieshia Baisy-Dyer. This will be a
great chance for you to get to know her better and ask questions about her.
BACK TO SCHOOL SUMMER EVENTS: On August 6th at Uplift Hampton Campus. Uplift
Education will be providing immunizations, dental screening, health and nutrition
information, and provide school supplies for the 16-17 school year. More details will be
sent out this summer.
MEET THE NEW AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM: Starting next Tuesday come check out the new
afterschool program Champions from 10am-1pm.
OUTSTANDING BALANCES: If you have an outstanding balance for either Big Thought or
Lunch you will not receive your scholar’s report cards. Please contact the front if you have
any questions.

Nuestro nuevo programa después de escuela de Kinder-5 para el año escolar 2016-2017.
En Luna Primaria estamos muy emocionados de asociarnos con Champions como nuestro más nuevo programa después
de escuela para Kínder hasta el 5º grado. Junto con ofrecer un excelente programa que se alinea con nuestro plan de
estudios, Champions ofrece horarios flexibles, botanas saludables y un personal bien capacitado con licencia.
Por favor vea el folleto adjunto para más detalles. Tendremos un representante de Champions en nuestra escuela todos
los martes de 10:00am – 1:00pm durante el verano para ayudar con aplicaciones y contestar cualquier pregunta que

Ultimo Día de Escuela: ¡Este jueves, 26 de mayo, es el último día de clases! ¡Esperamos
que tengan un divertido y seguro verano, esperamos verlos nuevamente el próximo año
escolar!
Horario de Verano: El horario de la oficina será de lunes a jueves de 9:00am-3:00pm y
viernes de 9:00am – 12:00pm.
Ceremonia de Promoción: El 25 de mayo a las 11:30am tendremos nuestra ceremonia de
promoción para 5º grado ¡Asegúrese de venir y celebrar con nuestros escolares!
Café con la Directora: Vengan a la escuela entre las horas 8:30am-9:30am el 25 y 31 de
mayo a tomar café con nuestra nueva directora, Alieshia Baisy-Dyer. Esta será una gran
oportunidad para conocerla y hacerle preguntas.
Eventos de Regreso a la Escuela: El 6 de agosto la escuela Uplift Hampton será el
anfitrión para el evento de regreso a la escuela. Uplift Education proporcionará vacunas,
evaluaciones dentales, información de salud y nutrición, y útiles escolares para el año
escolar 16-17. Más detalles serán dados durante el verano.
Conozca el nuevo Programa Después de Escuela: A partir del próximo martes venga e
infórmese con el programa después de escuela Champions de 10am-1pm.
Saldos Pendientes: Si tiene un saldo pendiente de Big Thought o de Almuerzo no recibirá
las calificaciones de su escolar. Por favor póngase en contacto con la oficina si tiene alguna
pregunta.
