El 1 de febrero de 1964, “The Beatles” llegaban al
número uno mundial por primera vez. La canción era
“I Wanna Hold Your Hand”. Dos meses después “The
Rolling Stones” lanzaban su primer álbum. RockStory conmemora los 50 años de estos momentos
funda¬mentales en la música.
On 1 February 1964, The Beatles reached number
one around the world for the first time. The song was
“I Wanna Hold Your Hand”. RockStory commemora¬tes
50 years of these pivotal moments in music.
Am 1. Februar 1964 standen „The Beatles” zum ersten
Mal auf Platz eins der weltweiten Hitliste. Der Song
lautete „I Wanna Hold Your Hand”. Rock Story erinnert
an die 50 Jahre dieser grundlegenden Momente in
der Musikgeschichte.

Latonius Jermaine Earl también conocido como
“The Latonius” es un increíble y talentoso cantante,
un maestro en su vulnerabilidad, amante de la música, persigue con pasión cada acorde, cada nota,
cada sonido. Star D Choir lo integran 35 componentes, algunos con formación musical, otros amateur
y el grupo instrumental (piano, batería y bajo). Trata
de acercar al público la esencia del góspel con
nuevas sonoridades, nuevos arreglos y sobre todo el
predominio del color.
IX Canary Islands Gospel Festival
Latonious Jermaine Earl, also known as The Latonius,
is an incredible and talented singer. He is a master
in his vulnerability, a music lover and he passionately
pursues every chord, note and sound. Star D Choir is
made up of 35 people, some with musical training
and others amateur, and an instrumental group (piano, drums and bass). They try to bring people close
to the essence of gospel with new sounds, new
arrangements and, above all, with the predominance
of colour.

Klang verfolgt. Star D Choir setzt sich aus 35 Mitgliedern, einige mit musikalischer Ausbildung, andere
Amateure und einer Instrumentalgruppe zusammen
(Piano, Schlagzeug und Bass). Sie versuchen das
Publikum mit neuen Klängen, neuen Arrangements
und vor allen Dingen mit viel Farbe an die Essenz des

La historia de “Ballets de Tenerife” es, sin lugar a
duda, un bello ejemplo de lo que el tesón, esfuerzo y
voluntad de un grupo de artistas es capaz de lograr.
Fue en 1979, a raíz de la llegada de Miguel Navarro a la isla de Tenerife, cuando surgió, en estrecho
contacto con Rosalina Ripoll, la primera idea de una
compañía estable y profesional de Ballet en Tenerife.
The story of “Ballets de Tenerife” is without a shadow
of a doubt a shining example of what the determination, effort and desire of a group of artists can achieve. This group’s story started in 1979, following the
arrival of Miguel Navarro on the island of Tenerife. At
that time and in close contact with Rosalina Ripoll,
the initial idea of a stable and professional ballet
company in Tenerife arose.
Die Geschichte des „Ballets de Tenerife” ist ohne
Zweifel ein schönes Beispiel dafür, was eine Künstlergruppe mit Konstanz, Einsatz und Willen alles erreichen kann. Die Geschichte dieser Formation beginnt
1979 mit der Ankunft von Miguel Navarro auf Teneriffa. In diesem Moment entstand in engem Kontakt
mit Rosalina Ripoll die erste Idee eines dauerhaften

Asociación Cultural Imoque
Huellas que tras cruzar los mares, se imprimieron con
fuerza en las nuevas tierras, seguir su rastro con la
finalidad de ilustrar cuáles han sido los puntos de
partida de muchos de los géneros que hoy en día
forman parte de nuestro folklore y de nuestro acervo
cultural. Ofrecer al espectador la posibilidad de realizar un viaje, siguiendo las huellas de los que nos precedieron, a través de la propuesta artística que surge
en el seno de la joven Asociación Cultural Imoque, del
Sur de Tenerife.
By crossing the seas, deep footprints were made on
new lands, and by following these prints, you can
illustrate which ones were the origins of many music genres that today are part of our folklore and our
cultural heritage. It offers the audience the chance to
go on a journey, following the footsteps of our ancestors, thanks to the artistic concept that emerges at the
heart of the young Imoque Cultural Association, in the
south of Tenerife.

26. Gründungstag der Abteilung für Musik des Kulturpatronats der Stadtverwaltung von Arona.
El origen de la Banda de Música de Arona se remonta
a 1985, cuando en el Ayuntamiento de Arona surge
la idea de crear una academia de música. El primer
paso de esta academia fue impartir clases de lenguaje
musical, piano e instrumentos de viento y percusión,
lográndose en 1987 crear una Filial del Conservatorio Superior de Música de S/C de Tenerife en Arona.
Desde entonces ha participado en diversos actos dentro y fuera del Municipio. Ciclos de conciertos: Música en Primavera, Música en Otoño, etc., en fiestas del
Municipio y fuera del mismo, Certámenes de Bandas,
Congresos de la Federación Tinerfeña de Bandas de
Música, etc.
Der Ursprung der Banda de Música de Arona reicht
bis ins Jahr 1985 zurück, als die Stadtverwaltung von
Arona die Idee hatte, eine Musikakademie zu gründen.
In ihren ersten Schritten erteilte die Akademie Unterricht in musikalischer Sprache, Klavier, Blasinstrumente
und Schlagzeug. 1987 gründet sie eine Niederlassung
der Musikhochschule von Santa Cruz de Tenerife in
Arona. Seitdem hat sie an zahlreichen Veranstaltungen außer- und innerhalb der Gemeinde teilgenommen. Konzertzyklen: Música en Primavera (Musik im
Frühling), Música en Otoño (Musik im Herbst) etc. zu
Feierlichkeiten inner- und außerhalb der Gemeinde,
Band Contests, Kongresse der Vereinigung der Musikgruppen aus Teneriffa, etc.

he origins of the Arona Municipal Band go back to
1985, when the Arona Town Hall came up with the
idea of creating a music academy. The first step of
this academy was to give music theory classes, piano
classes as well as woodwind and percussion classes,
which led to the creation in 1987 of an independent
Subsidiary of the Higher Conservatory of Music in Arona. Since then, it has participated in numerous activities inside and outside of the Municipality. A series of
concerts: Música en Primavera (Music in Spring), Música en Otoño (Music in Autumn), etc., in festivals within
the Municipality and outside of it; Band Contests, Conferences of the Tenerife Music Bands Federation, etc.

tiene marco musical cautivante y pegadizo, compuesto especialmente para esta puesta en escena.
Ha sido invitada a varios festivales importantes de
música de cámara en diversos países. Ha dado
conciertos en Alemania - Bad Woerishofen, Warstein,
Berlin, Munich, Darmstadt; Austria - Viena, Reutte;
España - Tenerife; Italia - Roma; Francia – Paris. Ha
tocado con músicos de la talla de Roland Szentpáli,
Gábor Boldóczki, Kristóf Baráti y bajo la batuta de
directores como László Marosi y Ádám Medveczky.

Yolanda G. Sobrado
Bajo esta premisa, se plantea este viaje vital por
los estilos del flamenco que más han influido en la
vida artística de Yolanda G. Sobrado. Así, partiendo
de sus propias vivencias y del imaginario de esta
bailadora se hilvanan una serie de escenas con la
idea de rescatar y reconvertir imágenes, reorganizando los estilos conocidos de manera que formen
un conjunto inesperado con el objetivo de descubrir
algo nuevo.
The work is a journey taking in the flamenco styles
that have had the greatest influence on the artistic
career of Yolanda G. Sobrado. Arising from the experiences and imagination of this dancer, a series of
scenes are linked together with the idea of salvaging
and restructuring images, reorganising the known
styles in such a manner that they form an unexpected group with a view to discovering something new.
Unter dieser Prämisse, wird eine lebendige Reise
durch die verschiedenen Flamencostile vollführt, die
Yolanda G. Sobrado in ihrem künstlerischen Werdegang am meisten beeinflusst haben. Ausgehend von
ihren eigenen Lebenserfahrungen und der Vorstellungskraft dieser Tänzerin, werden eine Reihe von
Szenen mit der Idee entworfen, Bilder zu befreien
und umzuwandeln, bekannte Stile neu zu organisieren, so dass sie ein unerwartetes Ganzes bilden, um

Un año más, en los diferentes núcleos de Arona se realizarán actividades de dinamización infantil bajo la temática de la Navidad. Cada tarde se ofertarán talleres
de manualidades navideñas y castillos hinchables para que los más pequeños
del municipio reciban a las fiestas.

Contemplar la pintura de Juan Martín es descubrir la dinámica del transcurso,la faz siempre cambiante de
una aventura donde las luces y las sombras nos llevan al misterio.
Se plantea cada cuadro como un instante único, un clima diferente. Es esa luz cambiante con la que afronta
cada tema, lo que nos muestra que su pintura nace en el mismo acto de pintar; recrea lo exterior como una
excusa y es la imagen fijada de ese mar o ese cielo lo que marca la pauta y ordena el cuadro como un todo
y lo vuelve irrepetible.
To contemplate the paintings of Juan Martín is to
discover the dynamics of the time, the ever-changing
face of an adventure where the lights and shadows
draw us into mystery.
Die Gemälde von Juan Martín zu betrachten,
bedeutet die Dynamik des Ablaufs zu entdecken, das
sich ständig verändernde Angesicht, wo uns Licht
und Schatten ins Mysteriöse führen.
Each painting represents a unique moment, a
different atmosphere. It is this changing light that
allows us to confront each subject, which shows
us the fact that his painting is born in the act of
painting it. It recreates the outside as a pretext and
it is a fixed image of that sea or that sky, which
indicates a pattern and presents the painting as a
whole, rendering it inimitable.
Jedes Bild wird als ein einzigartiger Augenblick
aufgefasst, ein unterschiedliches Klima. Und dieses
sich ständig wechselnde Licht, mit dem er sich
jedem Thema stellt, zeigt uns das seine Malerei
im gleichen Moment des Aktes passiert. Er kreiert
das Äußere als eine Entschuldigung und sie ist das
feste Bild jenes Meeres oder jenen Himmels, der
dem Gemälde Regeln und Ordnung als ein Ganzes
verleiht und nicht wiederholbar ist.

has remained intact through the years. It is still made
in the same way the ancient settlers of Tenerife used
to make it.
Die traditionelle kanarische Töpferkunst ist eine Welt,
die es zu entdecken gilt und im Laufe der Zeit stets
aufrechterhalten wurde. Auch heute noch ist die
Herstellung die Gleiche, wie damals bei den ersten
Bewohnern von Teneriffa.

de Lucha I´Gara acompañado de una exposición que recoge fotografías, documentos y objetos de más de
30 años de la historia de la lucha en Cabo Blanco. A través de este trabajo se pretende mantener presentes y
cercanos a todas las personas que han formado parte de la historia de Cabo Blanco.

Fight Club, and is accompanied by an exhibition that
contains photographs, documents and objects from
more than 30 years of history of wrestling Cabo Blanco. The aim of this work is to keep everyone who was

Canarias Folk Fest Arona
“Canarias Folk Fest Arona” es una iniciativa del Patronato de Turismo que tendrá lugar entre el 16 de octubre de 2014 y el 27 de marzo de 2015.
En esta sexta edición, además de la actuación folclórica y de la muestra de artesanía y alimentación Canaria,
ofreceremos como novedad, diversos talleres de “Oficios Tradicionales”, en los que el turista podrá disfrutar
e interactuar con el artesano e incluso, en algunos de
ellos, elaborar su propia artesanía.
The Arona Canary Islands Folk Festival is an initiative of
the Tourism Board that will take place between the 16
October 2014 and the 27 March 2015.
This sixth edition, in addition to the folk performance
and the exhibition of Canarian crafts and traditional
foods, will also include various workshops on “Traditional Trades”, wherein tourists will be able to spend time
and interact with artisans and a number will even allow
them to produce their own craftwork.
„Canarias Folk Fest Arona” ist eine Initiative des Tourismuspatronats, die vom 16. Oktober 2014 bis zum 27.
März 2015 stattfindet.
Bei der diesjährigen Ausgabe wird es neben den
üblichen Ausstellungen mit Kunsthandwerk und kanarischen Lebensmitteln an den unterschiedlichen
Standorten, verschiedene Workshops „Traditioneller
Berufe“ geben, bei welchen der Tourist sich mit den
Kunsthandwerkern austauschen und in einigen sogar
sein eigenes Kunsthandwerk herstellen kann.
