Mujeres maestras: un proyecto de educación artística entre la escuela y el
museo.

Resumen:
El proyecto Mujeres Maestras nació en 2005, como un homenaje a las
profesionales de la educación. Con este trabajo se intenta visibilizar a las
docentes que trabajan en educación infantil, primaria y secundaria. El colectivo
de las maestras es importante y merece más atención. En tiempos de crisis, la
reivindicación de los colectivos de trabajadores, especialmente en el sector de
la educación, resulta mucho más significativo. Durante los primeros años de
este proyecto de educación artística se ha realizado una aproximación a las
maestras de varios países. En 2012 se publicará el libro Mujeres Maestras.
Identidades docentes en Iberoamérica, editado por Graó. En esta publicación
se recogen las voces de maestras a quienes hemos entrevistado en diferentes
países Cuba, Colombia, Chile y Uruguay. El libro también explica el proyecto
desde la perspectiva de las narrativas personales. La forma de visibilizar a las
maestras consiste en generar imágenes sobre ellas. Los niños dibujan a sus
maestras, y también las interpreta el artista. Los museos exponen estos
trabajos y en estas exposiciones se reflexiona sobre la realidad de las
maestras.
El
proyecto
Mujeres
Maestras
tiene
previsto
ampliar
sus
posibilidades mediante las TIC, a través de espacios virtuales en los que se
gestione la visibilización del colectivo de los educadores y las educadoras. Esta
nueva etapa comenzará en 2012. En el seminario Building Bridges between
Schools and Museums se presentará el nuevo formato virtual del proyecto
Mujeres Maestras. Creemos que con este modelo de intervenciones se
refuerzan las posibilidades de integración entre escuelas y museos,
especialmente a través de sus protagonistas: los educadores, los profesionales
de la educación.

Women Teacher: an Art Education Project between School and Museum.
Abstract:
The Women Teacher Project was born in 2005, as an honoring to the education
professionals. The project speak us about the teachers, and defines with
images the education workers. We are giving visibility to the teachers on
Primary and Secondary School. I believe that teachers are important and that
they need more attention as group. In crisis time, the recovery of the workers
groups, specially in education, turns out to be much more significant.
During six years I have compiled information for this art education project. An
approximation has been realized to the teachers of several countries. In 2012
will be the book published Mujeres Maestras. Identidades docentes en
Iberoamérica, edited by Graó. In this publication there are gathered the voices
of teachers whom we have interviewed in different countries: Cuba, Colombia,
Chile and Uruguay. The book also explains the project from the perspective of
personal narratives. To generate the visibility of teachers we create images on
them. The children draw her teachers, and also the artist interprets them. The
museums exhibit these works. These exhibitions allow to generate thinking and
different perspectives about this idea.
Our project has intention of extending his possibilities by the ICT processes,
across virtual spaces in which there is managed the visibility of the educators
group. This new stage will begin in 2012. In the Seminar Building Bridges
between Schools and Museums we will present the new virtual format of the
project. We believe that this model of interventions create possibilities of
integration, because are reinforced relations between schools and museums,
specially across his and her protagonists: the teachers, the professionals of
education.
