Este verano quiero ganar mucho dinero. El semestre

que viene iré a España para estudiar. Pero primero ¡necesito
dinero para comprar un billete de avión! Aunque los productos
en Europa cuestan menos que en los E.E.U.U. a veces, todavía
necesito dinero para viajar y tener muchas aventuras en un
país extranjero. Aunque este verano es el último de mis años
en la Universidad—me es más importante tener una buena experiencia en el extranjero que en Lawrence, Ks. Simplemente,
quiero ver a mi familia y a mis amigos este verano y ¡disfrutar
de la vida buena!

Este verano voy a hacer muchas cosas diferentes. Voy

a correr para el fútbol. Por una semana, voy a ir a un campamento de Young Life en Minnesota. Vamos a limpiar, arreglar
y pintar el campo así que cuando los campistas lleguen el campo sea muy lindo. Mi familia va a ir a Colorado por una semana para disfrutar las montañas y el clima. Durante el verano
voy a trabajar para un grupo de futbol y voy a cuidar a los niños de mis vecinos.
Este verano me mudaré a Lincoln, Nebraska para asistir a las clases. No regresaré a Baker el próximo año, porque

rano, voy a tomar clases de ética del médico. También, voy a
viajar a muchos lugares—Florida, Colorado y, posiblemente,
California. Estoy triste de despedirme de mis amigos de Baker
pero estoy muy emocionada para mi futuro con mi novio y las
experiencias en mi escuela nueva el próximo año.

Summer Plans of Class SP306
This summer I’m living in a house situated in the middle of Lawrence on
Ohio Street. I will return to Baldwin to workout with my football team. Now, I’m

trying to find a job for the summer. I’m in the process of obtaining an internship

with Northwestern Mutual. If that doesn’t work out, I have an opportunity to be an
interviewer in an office in Olathe. Anyway, I have options but I don’t know which
job I will have.

This summer I have plans to take a human anatomy class at JCCC. Also, I
want to prepare myself for running. I will need to ride bikes in the gym, lift weights,
and swim. I have plans to go out with my boyfriend and friends frequently. My
friends, Heidi and Heather, will be in a house near mine this summer.

This summer I’m going to practice Spanish and Italian because I want to
efficiently speak them. I am also going to travel to many countries in Europe in
June with a group of music students. We’re going to Italy, Switzerland, Austria,
Germany, England, Liechtenstein and France for two weeks. We will sing and play
instruments in the cathedrals.

This summer I want to make a lot of money. Next semester I will go to Spain to study
but first I need money to buy a plane ticket! Even though things in Europe are cheaper than
in the United States (sometimes), I still need money to travel and to have many adventures in
foreign countries. Even though, this is the last summer of my years in college, it’s more important to me to have a good experience abroad than in Lawrence. I simply want to see my
family and friends this summer and enjoy the good life!

This summer I’m going to do a lot of different things. I’m going to run for soccer. For one
week I am going to a Young Life camp in Minnesota. We’re going to clean, fix, and paint the
camp so it is nice when campers arrive. My family is going to Colorado for a week to enjoy
the mountains and the weather. I’m going to work this summer for a soccer club and take
care of my neighborhood kids.

This summer I am moving to Lincoln, Nebraska to attend classes. I am not returning
to Baker next year because my fiancé is going to play football at Nebraska. This summer, I
will be taking medical ethics classes. Also, I’m going to travel to many places like Florida,
Colorado, and maybe California. I am sad to say goodbye to my Baker friends, but I’m excited for my future with my fiancé and the experiences I will have in my new school next
