In my capacity of attorney-in-fact of Banco Hipotecario S.A., I hereby give notice to you
with reference to the referred matter, that as set forth by Sections 4 and 5 of Decree No. 2127 dated
11.07.12 and Section 3 of Resolution No. 264 dated 06.18.13 issued by the Ministry of Economy and
Public Finance, the National Government, through the National Office of Equity Standardization
(Dirección Nacional de Normalización Patrimonial), Office of the Programa de Propiedad
Participada of the Ministry of Economy, established the transfer of Class A shares to certain former
employees.
As a result of such transfer, Caja de Valores had been required to convert 78,569 (seventyeight thousand five hundred and sixty-nine) Class “A” common shares into the same number of Class
“D” shares and to make the relevant changes in the ownership thereof.
Therefore, please cause the converted shares to qualify under the public offering category.
As a consequence of the referred stock conversion, Banco Hipotecario S.A.’s capital stock is
made up as follows:
CLASS “A” SHARES 673,323,355
CLASS “B” SHARES 57,009,279
CLASS “C” SHARES 75,000,000
CLASS “D” SHARES 694,667,366
Besides, please find enclosed a letter of Caja de Valores S.A. correcting the information
provided in the note submitted to the Financial Information Highway (AIF) on 02/28/2014, under ID
4-214566-D.

We hereby inform you that on the note of February 28, due to an involuntary error, we assigned the
Class D Shares an amount of 693,989,561 (six hundred ninety-three million nine hundred eighty-nine
thousand five hundred sixty-one), when the correct amount was 693,988,561 (six hundred ninety-three
million nine hundred eighty-eight thousand five hundred sixty-one).
