They live together as one body in Christ. Christ on the cross is the oneness of our world. In him, our individual suffering is integrated in one redeeming act of love. In the crucified Christ, the Christs of every nation meet as one. This oneness in the Passion of Christ is the love that is redeeming the world. A Christian has no enemies. Those who formerly wounded one another bleed together from the same wounds, the wounds of the crucified Christ. Poured again from his wounds, the blood sows the seed of love into the world. In Christ, those who rise will come together and greet each other with his greeting, “Peace be to you.” —Caryll Houselander The Passion of the Infant Christ What can I do today to alleviate the sufferings of those around me? ======================================== Readings for the Week of June 10, 2012 Sunday: Ex 24:3-8/Heb 9:11-15/Mk 14:12-16, 22-26 Monday: Acts 11:21b-26; 13:1-3/Mt 5:1-12 Tuesday: 1 Kgs 17:7-16/Mt 5:13-16 Wednesday: 1 Kgs 18:20-39/Mt 5:17-19 Thursday: 1 Kgs 18:41-46/Mt 5:20-26 Friday: Hos 11:1, 3-4, 8c-9/Eph 3:8-12, 14-19/Jn 19:31-37 Saturday: 1 Kgs 19:19-21/Lk 2:41-51 Lecturas para la semana del 10 de junio de 2012 domingo: Ex 24:3-8/Heb 9:11-15/Mk 14: lunes 12-16, 22-26: actúa 11:21b-26; 13:1-3/Mt 5:1-12 martes: 1 Kgs 17:7-16/Mt 5:13-16 miércoles: 1 Kgs 18:20-39/Mt 5: jueves 17-19:1 Kgs 18:41-46/Mt 5: viernes 20-26: Hos 11:1, 3-4, 8 c-9/Efesios 3:812, 14-19/Jn 19: sábado 31-37:1 Kgs 19:19-21/LC 2:41-51 El Cuerpo y La Sangre de Cristo Congratulations graduates, may God continue to bless you and your abilities! ============================ Today’s second collection benefits the Priests’ Retirement Fund.
