Although it is widely accepted that the coordination of different oscillatory activities plays an important role in brain function, many aspects of the fundamental underlying mechanisms remain unknown. In this workshop different scientist with diverse backgrounds ranging from anatomy and physiology to engineering and physics will bring together recent perspectives in the field of neuronal networks focusing on the interactions between structure, dynamics and function in the brain. We will present new trends for the study of the fundamental mechanisms of brain oscillations and their role in disease.
