GOD IS WITH US
The book of Wisdom
tells us that the spirit of
God is in all things. What a
wonderful thought, and
what a wonderful image to
keep in front of us as we
travel down life’s road. For
if the path is revealed in the
treading, it’s good to know
that God is with us—and all
around us—every step of
the way.
But Paul knows that this divine presence is not timid.
Instead, God calls out to us, and Paul prays that we, along
with the Thessalonians, might be made worthy of that call.
And who knows more about God’s call than Zacchaeus, the
tax collector? Jesus called him out of a tree, for goodness’
sake. Or perhaps more correctly, as we reflect upon the end
of today’s Gospel reading, for heaven’s sake.

ALTAR FOR THE DEAD
You are invited to honor your loved one’s memory by
writing their name on the “All Souls envelope” and
placing it in the offering basket. Also, we have the
altar of the dead. You are welcome to bring in pictures of those who have gone before us and place
them on the beautiful shrine. In this way, we will
keep them in our memory and make a special prayer
for them.
Don’t forget to change your
clocks next weekend! We will
“Fall Back” on Sunday, the 6th of
November for Daylight Savings

parish. We ask this through
Christ our Lord. Amen.

YLI SEEKS DONATIONS FOR BAZAAR
Parishioners are welcome/ encouraged to donate baked
goods/candies to the YLI Holiday Bazaar Baked Goods table
on Nov. 12th. YLI is the only organization for Catholic ladies
in our area and provide many monetary and serviceoriented services for our Parish. Thank you all!
ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL 2017
The programs, services, and ministries supported by the
Diocesan Annual Catholic Appeal are intended to meet the
needs of Catholics here in the Diocese of Yakima. The
Church serves each of us and our financial support is needed to continue God’s work here in Central Washington.
NO RELIGIOUS EDUCATION THIS WEEK
Please remember that Religious Education classes will
not meet this Wednesday, November 2nd. This includes
the classes for RCIA and RICA. The Wednesday schedule

Pero Pablo sabe que esta divina presencia no es tímida.
En vez de eso, Dios nos llama, y Pablo ruega que nosotros,
junto con los tesalonicenses, nos hagamos dignos de ese
llamado. ¿Y quien sabe mas acerca del llamado de Dios que
Zaqueo, el recaudador de impuestos? Todos sabemos que
Jesus lo llamo que bajara nada menos que de un arbol, por
su bien. Tal vez mas correctamente, al reflexionar en el final de la lectura del Evangelio de hoy, podríamos decir que
para bien del cielo.

Escuela de Santa Rosa:
Unase a nosotros para la primera
“Trunk or Treat” anual de Santa
Rosa! Participar es muy facil.
Simplemente decorar la cajuela de su vehículo, comprar sus dulces y se
reunen en el estacionamiento de la escuela de Santa Rosa a las 4:00 pm
el 31 de octubre. Para obtener mas informacion, pongase en contacto

EL ALTAR DE LOS MUERTOS
Estan invitados a honrar la memoria de su seres
queridos, escribiendo su nombre en el "sobre Todos los Santos" y llevarlo a la oficina de la Iglesia.
Ademas, tenemos el altar de los muertos. Les invitamos a traer fotos de los que nos han precedido y
colocarlos en el hermoso santuario. De esta manera, vamos a mantenerlos en nuestra memoria y
hacer una oracion especial por ellos.
Que nuestras oraciones les ayuden a unirse a los ángeles y los santos y, por tanto,
se convierten en una gran multitud que constituye la Iglesia Triunfante.

YLI Busca Donaciones

senoras de YLI para la Venta Navidena el día 12 de noviembre. YLI es la unica organizacion para las mujeres catolicas en
nuestra area y se proporcionan muchos servicios a nuestra

En Memoria Cariñosa
Nosotros, como familia parroquial extendemos nuestras
condolencias a los amigos y
familiares de Lee Loomis. La
Misa de funeral se celebrara
el miercoles 2 a la 1:00 pm
con servicio funebre y la recepcion inmediatamente despues. El Rosario esta programado para el martes por la
noche a las 8:00 pm en la
Iglesia.
Campaña Católica Anual 2017
Los programas, servicios, y ministerios mantenidos por la
Compana Anual de Cooperacion Diocesana tienen como fin
cumplir con las necesidades de los catolicos aquí en la Diocesis de Yakima. La Iglesia nos sirve a todos nosotros y nuestro
apoyo monetario es muy necesario para continuar la obra de
Dios aquí en Washington Central.
NO HABRÁ EDUCACIÓN RELIGIOSA ESTA SEMANA
Por favor, recuerde que este miercoles 2 de noviembre
no habra clases de Educacion Religiosa. Sin embargo, si
habra Misa por el día de Todos Los Fieles Difuntos a las
6:30 pm en la Iglesia. (Esto incluye las clases de RICA y

CAMBIO DE HORARIO DE MISAS
Empezando el día 12 de Noviembre, la Misa
de Vigilia Bilingüe a las 5:30 pm los sábados
se convertirá en una Misa en Ingles y se va a
añadir otra Misa en español a las 7:00 pm.
