HELLO Class of 1973 Athens Academy, Cedar Shoals and Clarke Central:
Thank you for the great response we received in updating the address list for the 2008 35th
Class Reunion. We are now asking for your help locating classmates that we have lost
touch with. Please review the attached list and if you have any contact information
(parents, siblings, friends - areas they have lived in, etc.) please notify one of us so that
they can be included.
The reunion is planned for Saturday, June 21, 2008 from 8 p.m. - 12 midnight at the Classic
Center Foundry Street Ballrooms. We have secured the High Shoals room for our event.
Dress is casual and entertainment will be provided by Soul Generation 73 from 10:00 –
11:00 featuring beach and Motown sounds of the 60’s and 70’s. Don't be surprised at who
might join in for the jam. The official invitation will be sent out around the end of January,
2008.
To assist us with our planning we need the following information from you as soon as
possible via e-mail, regular mail or telephone:
Do you plan to attend the reunion?
Do you plan on bringing a guest?
Would you attend a pre-reunion gathering on Friday night?
Our contract with the Classic Center has a percentage payment clause that will be enforced
in case the event has to be cancelled. If there is not enough participation and we have to
cancel the event, we will not only forfeit our deposit but will also be responsible for that
payment.
