OUTREACH NEWS
Please make this Christmas a little brighter for those less fortunate
by donating a toy to a worthy cause.
Toys will be distributed to the children of the 600
needy families enrolled in St. Mary of the Isle and
St. Ignatius Outreach Programs.
Please drop off unwrapped toys at St. Mary’s Rectory Office
315 E. Walnut St., Long Beach
The holiday season is upon us again. We have a number
of needy families within our community who will greatly
appreciate your help during this Christmas season. If
you would like to adopt a family or can help, please call
Andrew Santos at 516-432-0157 ext. 17. We could use
gift cards for local food and clothing stores.
Our Christmas Angel Tree is available in the lobby of the Church for those
of you who would like to help provide gifts for those in need.
We would also need some help with the distribution of gifts. If you can

EAC Network’s Senior Respite
In-Home Caregiver Services
Attention: Family Members caring for an older Adult
For more than 30 years, the not-for-profit EAC Network In-Home Respite Services has
been supporting Nassau County families caring for an older adult by offering them
anywhere from 2-6 hours support each week. Time to go to church, to the doctor, to
take a class, to do bills, to go out to lunch. We introduce a caring man or woman to
pay a friendly visit to their loved one on a weekly basis, keeping them safe and
engaging them in appropriate activities. We have companions available in Long
Beach and surrounding areas waiting to help. Our companions are trained and
carefully screened. If you are or know someone caring for a family member, or you
are interested in visiting an older adult please call us at 516-539-0150 ext. 218 or

maneras en las que usted podría ayudar para que esta Navidad sea realmente Feliz y Bendecida
para muchos, muchos niños en nuestra área.
Si usted quisiera comprar un juguete, puede traerlo (sin envolver) a la Rectoría. También, ya
tenemos el Árbol del Ángel de la Navidad en el vestíbulo de la Iglesia, si usted desea, tome un
sobre de allí para que su regalo llegue a una familia. Si a usted le gustaría adoptar toda una
familia, puede hacerlo - por favor llame a Andrew Santos 516-432-0157 ext. 17 para obtener esa
información.
