Suggested Titles and Authors for Students Entering Fifth Grade

Reading during the summer break is not just fun, it’s one of the best ways to be ready for the next school year! This list of titles and
authors will get you started, but don’t forget that the public library and your local bookstore are both great places to find new and
exciting books! All students who complete the Gwinnett County Public Library Summer Reading program will be allowed to check
out an extra book each time they visit the media center! (“Super Summer Readers” will be able to check out 3 books at a time
rather than just 2!) See the back of this sheet for more information about the public library! Also, students who complete summer
reading will be invited to an ice cream social at the end of August! Have a great summer and happy reading!!
La lectura durante las vacaciones de verano no sólo es divertida, es es una de las mejores maneras de alistarse para el próximo año
escolar! Esta lista de títulos y autores le ayudará a prepararse, pero no se olvide que la biblioteca pública y la librería, ambos son
lugares fabulosos para encontrar nuevos y emocionantes libros! A todos los estudiantes que completen el Programa de Lectura
de Verano de La Biblioteca Pública del Condado de Gwinnett se les permitirá llevar un libro adicional cada vez que visiten el centro
de medios! ( "Los Super lectores del verano" podrán sacar 3 libros cada vez en lugar de solamente 2!) Mire la parte de atrás de esta
