Abstract
This work shows how the DSpace software was changed to create the technical revision step in the workflow submission of the Open
Educational Resources (OER) community in Lume – Digital Repository of Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. The main goal of technical
revision step is allow access the OER directly on browser. OER installation is not required.

Conclusion
On Technical Revision, a verification of OER’s technical properties and the inclusion of link to its installation on-line
access allow the others reviewers access it without the need to install it, using only the browser, streamline the
submission process. This implementation also offers an OER’s preview to the end users, facilitating the access and
evaluation to its utilization. In this way, we intend to make Open Educational Resources
as accessible as possible.

Resumen: La Universidad Autónoma de
Nuevo León, a través de la Coordinación del
Repositorio, ha puesto en marcha el nuevo
portal del Repositorio Académico Digital de la
UANL, un sitio web que ofrece un diseño
atractivo para el usuario, así como una
experiencia de interacción con los contenidos
y sitios relacionados con el movimiento de
acceso abierto a nivel mundial.
La importancia de renovar la imagen del
Repositorio se debió a una estrategia de
comunicación digital dirigida a estudiantes,
docentes, investigadores y sociedad en
general, con el objetivo de persuadir con
prácticas comunicativas que ayuden a la
difusión de la producción académica y
científica que es generada en la Universidad.
El uso de redes sociales, concretamente
Twitter, proporciona una mayor difusión de
los contenidos con los que cuenta el
Repositorio, en particular hacia a la
comunidad estudiantil, ya que el manejo de
estas redes es la práctica comunicativa más
utilizada por los estudiantes y es una
excelente herramienta para la persuasión que
genera una visibilidad de la institución a nivel
mundial.
