Cut a piece of handmade
paper slightly smaller than the
size of the finished greeting
card and attach it to the
greeting card with
double-sided adhesive tape.

Moisten a sheet of handmade
paper with water and squeeze
the water out onto a piece of
plastic which has been placed
on the work surface for
protection.

Fill a refill bottle (with a tip) with
Art Aqua watercolour and drip
the watercolour onto the wet,
crumpled paper. NB! A pipette
may be used instead. Leave
the paper to dry in its
crumpled condition.

Add the graphic details onto
the greeting card using a thin
marker (Medallion permanent
marker pen).

Slightly smooth out the
coloured (and now dry)
crumpled paper. Place the bird
from the template onto the
paper and cut out a bird from
the crumpled paper.
Add more details with the
Medallion permanent marker
pen.
Alternatively, you may moisten
the paper flowers with water
before adding colour. Here we
dabbed the edges with
non-diluted colour.

This greeting card is decorated with handmade
paper and flowers which have been painted with
Art Aqua watercolour. The graphic details are
made with a Medallion permanent drawing pen.
Colour the punched-out
flowers with Art Aqua
watercolour. There are several
ways of doing this. Here we
have dabbed the center of the
flower with a non-diluted
colour using a foam stencil
brush whilst dry and we
dabbed the petals lightly with
a small amount of colour
diluted with a lot of water.
When dry attach the flowers
and the bird onto the greeting
card using double-sided
self-adhesive tape.
You may cut a piece of white
paper for the inside of the
greeting card to write a
greeting on. Attach this onto
the inside of the greeting card
using double-sided adhesive
tape. Alternatively, print a text
onto the white piece of paper
prior to trimming it and
attaching it to the inside of the
greeting card.
