Approval of minutes of the previous ELAC meeting
Purpose of informational meeting
a. Explain the purpose of forming an ELAC at the school site
b. Explain the responsibilities of being a member of the ELAC
c. Discuss the number of EL students
d. Explain the difference between ELAC and DELAC and that we do not need DELAC
any longer.
e. Answer any questions
Explain current EL funded services being provided at the school site
Discuss the idea of parent involvement and a parent workshop – it was mentioned in
the Title 1 survey last spring. (Get input)
Election of Members
a. Nominations from the floor are taken (remember the number of El parents
required for your school ELAC. Also, parents elect parents, teachers elect
teachers)
b. ACTION: Elect the number of required ELAC members for the current school year
ACTION: Choose Officials

a. Explicar el proposito de formar un ELAC en el sitio escolar
b. Explicar las responsabilidades de un miembro del ELAC
c. Hablar del número de estudiantes ELd. Explicar la diferencia entre ELAC y DELAC y que no necesitamos DELAC más
tiempo.

a. nominaciones del piso scran tomadas (recuerde el nu’mero de padres de EL
necesarios para su ELAC escolar. Tambie’n, los padres eligen a padres,
maestros eligen a maestros etc.)
b. ACCION: Elija el numero de miembros necearios de ELAC para el ano escolar
actual
