Motivo de alegría designación del Dr. Sánchez Borges como Presidente de la World Allergy Organization
Apreciados colegas
Mediante la presente tengo el privilegio de informarles que en la última reunión del Comité
Ejecutivo de la World Allergy Organization (WAO), realizado en la ciudad de San Antonio,
Texas, EEUU, tuvo lugar la elección del Presidente de la World Allergy Organization (WAO)
para el período 2015-2017, resultando favorecido el Dr. Mario Sánchez Borges, miembro titular
de nuestra sociedad.
Es para nosotros un motivo de alegría esta designación, ya que el Dr. Sánchez Borges se ha
destacado permanentemente en su desempeño dentro de la Sociedad, llegando además a
ocupar su Presidencia, haciendo aportes significativos mediante innumerables actividades
docentes y de investigación. En coherencia con esta historia, se ha ganado además el
reconocimiento de sus pares más allá de nuestras fronteras, trabajando incansablemente y
contribuyendo en forma continua con numerosos aportes tanto a la Sociedad Latinoamericana
de Alergia, Asma e Inmunología (SLaai) como con la WAO.
Quienes le conocemos, apreciamos en el Dr. Sánchez las cualidades necesarias para la
importante posición para la que resultó electo, por lo que no dudamos que su gestión será
exitosa y provechosa para la Organización.
Desde ya formulamos votos por su éxito y le ofrecemos nuestro apoyo desinteresado y
entusiasta para su gestión al frente de la WAO.
