Luis González TRIO is a jazz band from Sant Feliu de Guíxols (Costa Brava, Girona) with a
personal style, balanced and sincere. The trio keeps the classical team, piano, bass guitar and
battery.
His target is to create a band sound, a personal vision, musical and only, that of a coherent and
interesting meaning to his interpretations.
The group's aesthetic has a great influence of the European jazz and a conception of the open
music that potency his aspects more creative.

catalana
CANÇONS is LUIS GONZÁLEZ TRIO first release. A personal & original proposal with a good
rapport of these three musicians and friends.
Within the repertoire find seven popular catalan melodies, each with a concept, different style and
aesthetic, as it can be the free-jazz or the ECM.
The trio gives a new vision to songs so known as EL CANT DELS OCELLS or EL ROSSINYOL,
but with a modern and updated sound.
The piece that closes the CD is SILVIA, an original composition for piano solo.
