Pascal Senn
Is a 43-year old clinician scientist, with an appointment as chief of Otology, Audiology and
Cochlear implantation in the Department of Clinical Neuroscience, Service of ORL & CCF
in the University hospital of GENEVA, HUG.The laboratory of Dr. Senn (www.earresearch.ch) is still located at the University of Bern and affiliated with the Department of
ORL & cervicofacial surgery and the Department of Clinical Research of the Inselspital,
Bern, Switzerland. He has done a postdotoral research fellowship in the laboratory of Prof.
Stefan Heller in the US-Universities of Harvard (2005) and Stanford (2006). Since 2007,
Dr. Senn's developed an independent research activity focussing on inner ear stem cells,
cochlear implants and clinical research projects to improve heraing loss therapies.
