SPRING FESTIVAL
Please join UICCP Choir and Band
students at the Spring Music Festival.
The three day concert series will
take place in the UICCP gymnasium.
Admission is $5 for adults, $1 for students, and free for kids 12 and under.
Beginning Choir and Beginning Band
- Tuesday, 5/24, 6pm
Concert Choir and Concert Band Wednesday, 5/25, 6pm
Honors Choir and Honors Band Thursday, 5/26, 6pm.

JUNIOR CELEBRATION DAY!
Thursday, May 12th, 2016
All Junior Firecats are invited to
participate in a few outdoor activities,
lunch and bowling at UIC on Thursday. Firecats must have turned in a
signed permission slip in order to participate. Celebration Day will begin
at 8am and students will be dismissed
at 3:35pm, as usual. This is a regular
attendance day for Firecats.
Dress Code for Celebration Day:
Shirt: Wear ANY UICCP spirit shirt
(tee, sweatshirt, or hoodie). Your
shirt may be untucked so long as no
skin or undergarments are showing
anytime that you move. To stay warm,
you may wear a solid-colored, longsleeved shirt under your tshirt or wear
any UICCP sweatshirt.
Jeans or Chinos: Wear your floor
length solid jeans (any color), chinos
(any color), or school uniform pants.
They should not have holes and
should not be too loose or too tight.
(If they are a denim/spandex blend
or leggings, they are too tight!) You
may choose to wear a belt. Either way,
please keep those pants above the
waist.
Shoes: Wear tennis shoes, flats, or
boots, keeping the usual heel rule in
mind. Please bring/wear socks for
bowling. Choose a comfortable pair of
shoes, we will be walking a lot!
Other: All other uniform rules apply
(hair, jewelry, etc).
JUNIOR COLLEGE WORKSHOP
#3: FRIDAY, MAY 13TH
Eleventh Grade Firecats will participate in three college workshop sessions on Friday to officially begin the
college application process! Juniors
will not have class on this day, but
it does count as a regular attendance
day. Schedules will be provided
day-of. Regular school uniform rules
apply, except juniors may wear their
navy blue “Future College Grad” tee
shirts in place of their polos. Tees
must be tucked.
FIRECAT FAMILIES:
Please note that Friday, May 13th, is
a school day. Classes will follow our
regular Friday schedule.
ANNUAL STUDENT FEE
Firecat parents, each year we implement a Student Fee of $180, which
plays a big part of maintaining
functioning classrooms and learning
environment. At the beginning of the
year we ask parents that half of the fee
be paid off within the first couple of
weeks of school and the second half
be paid off at the start of the second
semester, in January. If you still have
a balance for the $180 student fee
we ask it be paid off by Friday June
3rd. Please contact Ms. Torres in the
main office if you have any questions.

TALLER JUNIOR COLLEGE # 3:
VIERNES 13ª DE MAYO
Firecats en undécimo grado
participaran en tres sesiones
de trabajo de la universidad el
viernes para iniciar oficialmente
el proceso de solicitud de la
universidad! Juniors no tendrán
clase en este día, pero se cuenta
como un día de asistencia regular
y dia regular de horario. Pueden
usar sus camisas de colegio azul
marino.

TARIFA DE ESCUELA
Padres firecats, cada año implementamos una tarifa de estudiante de $180, el cual juega un
papel importante para mantener

y ambiente de aprendizaje. A
principios del año pedimos a los

sea pagado en el primer par de
semanas de clases y la segunda
