Our parish celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation last weekend,
with Bishop Robert E. Barron as the presider. We thank him for his
kind participation in the celebration as our Confirmandi were sealed
with the Holy Spirit.

Candles in the Church
We have been advised by the fire prevention people that the
glass candles placed on the floor of our church present an
extreme fire hazard. Glass candles must be placed ONLY in
the red Pyrex containers in the steel racks. Lit candles left on
the floor are removed for safety purposes.

La iglesia de Old Mission Santa Inés está buscando a un Ministro
de Jóvenes de tiempo parcial para unirse al equipo de desarrollo de
un nuevo programa para involucrar activamente a los adolescentes
de la parroquia en la vida de la Iglesia. Esta posición podría incluir
Coordinador de Confirmación dependiendo de la experiencia. El
candidato debe ser un católico practicante con una sólida experiencia de trabajo con los jóvenes. Un título en teología o estudios religiosos o certificación YM arquidiocesana o nacional es deseable.
Debe tener una excelente comunicación y habilidades de organización (de preferencia, que sea fluyente en el español también) y
estar dispuesto a trabajar en colaboración.

Visita Anual de San Martín Caballero 2016
San Martín Caballero nos vuelve a visitar en nuestra
parroquia, La Purísima Concepción. Estará en Lompoc
