Matthew 25:14-15, 19-21
While God neither gives equally nor expects
equal results, he does expect a return on his
investment. The servant who buried his talent for safekeeping is punished severely: he is excluded from the
“master’s joy,” cast out to a place of suffering and regret.
God knows us and gives us talents in keeping with our natural strengths so that we may invest them, that is, use
them in a way that will bring a return for the one who gave
them to me. When our talents find an outlet, service becomes joy. That is what God wants for each of us!
While the construction of our new Church canopy is
under way, we will provide handicap parking in three locations on this facility: on the far south side of the Church
parking lot next to the school wing, the school north parking
lot next to Religious Education office and the already existing parking spaces on the school south parking lot next to
the playground.
For closer access to the Church main entrance we have
opened up the plaza circle drive for those who need to be
drop off or picked up. The plaza drive will not serve as a
parking area in order to allow traffic to move freely in and
out of the plaza drive area for others that need the same
access.

Journey of Hope…(taken from Daily Inspiration) “My divorce had just hit three months
earlier, and while everyone else was celebrating love, life, and future prosperity, I was
laying on that cold bed, in that empty house, feeling very,
very alone. I had cried all the tears I could cry, and I had
prayed - no, begged - God to save my marriage. Now I
was left to face the reality that my marriage was over, and
I was alone, possibly forever. Oh, how I wish someone
would have come along and snapped me out of my pityfilled stupor! I was too numbed by my own pain to be able
to sense God's loving presence with me on that dark, lonely night. What I failed to grasp was that I was no different
than all the other suffering souls through the ages that had
come before me. God's promise to never forget His people
was made to me and to you, too. No matter the depths of
your pain, or the hopelessness of your circumstances, God
is always present, always loving, always patiently accompanying you on your most difficult of paths. You are never
alone. He will never forget you. Can a mother forget her
infant, be without tenderness for the child of her womb? Even

NEW MISSALS AND MUSIC BOOKS COMING FOR ADVENT!
It’s that time of year again—time to replace
our old Missalettes and music books! Our
Altar Society ladies will be going through and
replacing some of the old, torn, blue covers for our books.
The covers aren’t as sturdy as we would like them to be,
but with your tenderness and care, can last a long time.
Please help us to preserve the covers. One way to help is
to assist small children who are readers with holding the
big books. Children who are not yet reading can use the
Magnifikid magazines from the Narthex, or bring their own
children’s picture Bibles from home. Thanks so much for
your care of our book binders!

December 1st beginning at 6:00 p.m. We
will have 6 bi-lingual priests, including Father Michael and Msgr. Andy in their usual confessionals,
Fr. Jonathan and 3 other priests in the Church prepared to
hear your confession. Advent is a holy time of waiting and
preparation. Just as Mary awaits the birth of the Savior, we
too anticipate and wait for His birth. Also, like Mary, we
prepare for His birth by making sure our hearts are ready
to receive Him! Don’t wait until Advent is over and you
have to rush right before Christmas to make your
Confession. Let your hearts be ready!

espirituales. Ellos saben que Dios no quiere que ellos
simplemente reciban esos dones y los entierren por temor,
sino que los multipliquen; para usar estos dones para
servirle a Él y a otros; para expandir las Buenas Nuevas de
Cristo; para ir y hacer discípulos a otros. Los buenos
corresponsables invierten lo que Dios les ha dado en el
servicio de otros y están preparados para rendir cuentas

NUEVOS MISALES Y LIBROS DE MUSICA
COMENZANDO EL ADVIENTO.
Ha llegado nuevamente la época del año
cuando reemplazamos nuestros viejos misales
y libros de música. Las Damas de la Sociedad del Altar
estarán reemplazando algunas de las cubiertas de los
libros azules con más desgaste. Las cubiertas no son tan
gruesas como hubiéramos deseado, pero con su ayuda y
cuidado podrán durar mucho tiempo. Una manera de
ayudar es asistiendo a niños pequeños a sostener los
libros. También pueden traer sus propias biblias con
dibujos para niños. ¡Muchas gracias por el cuidado que
dan a nuestros libros!
