MADRID

Taxis from the Barajas International airport to the centre of Madrid cost
around 20 euros (US$25.00) plus small surcharge for luggage, pick-up from
airport, night rate etc. Use official taxi ranks. Do not accept offers from taxi
drivers inside the airport building. A taxi to our offices should take 10-15
minutes (except during rush hour).

Madrid official taxis are white with a red diagonal strip across the front
doors, with a green light if they are free. On busy streets they can be found
and flagged down at virtually any time of the day or night. Taxis are
relatively cheap.

Underground (Metro): You can now travel to Barajas International Airport
on the metro line number 8 up to Nuevos Ministerios, then you change to
Line 10 direction Las Tablas (our stop is Begoña).
