Levantar la baldosa cerámica de la caja
con la ayuda de dos operarios.
Hacerlo lentamente y de forma coordinada
por el lado mas largo.
En el caso de tener que sujetar el pallet
por el lado corto de la caja será necesario utlizar horquillas de al menos 2,5 m de
longitud.
Two people will be needed to lift the ceramic slabs out of the box.
Lift them slowly, in coordinated fashion,
holding them along the longest sides.
If the pallet has to be lifted with the short
side across the forks, use forks with a length of at least 2.5 metres.
Translado de piezas de formatos 150x300
cm se realizara con ventosas, siempre en
posición vertical y manteniendo la pieza en
posición rectilínea.
Para una mejor adherencia deben humedecerse tanto la pieza cerámica como las
ventosas.
Para carga de conenedores, debe introducirse el pallet en el contenedor por el lado
corto de la caja ulizando la horquilla de al
menos 2,5 m. de longitud.
Load the pallets into containers with the
short side across the forks, using forks
with a length of at least 2.5 metres.
150x300cm ceramic slabs can be moved
with or without the aid of a rack. They
should always be moved vertically, keeping the slab straight.
Moisten both the ceramic slab and the
suction pads so that they stick firmly together.
Para el desplazamiento con carretillas elevadoras, se recomienda sujetar el pallet
siempre por el lado largo de la caja.
Es necesario poner horquillas distanciadas entre sí como mínimo 80 cm, perpendicularmente al lado largo del pallet, en el
centro de éste, sujetándolo con la totalidad
de la horquilla.
When a fork-lift truck is used for transportation purposes, insert the forks perpendicular to the longest sides of the pallet.
Make sure the forks are at least 80 cm
apart and that they run under the longest
sides of the pallet. The pallet should be
centred on the forks and fully supported
by them.

RECOMENDACIONES DE COLOCACIÓN / RECOMMENDATIONS WHEN LAYING THE SLABS
1. Debido a que nuestra documentación técnica no puede reflejar todas las aplicaciones
y factores que intervienen en la aconsejamos que el responsable del proyecto,
arquitecto o prescriptor establezca que tanto éste como el resto de productos que se
utilizan para su colocación son los adecuados para el uso previsto. En cualquier caso,
asume toda la responsabilidad que pueda resultar de su empleo.
Because our technical documents do not encompass all possible applications or
related factors, the project manager, architect or materials specifier should ensure
that the ceramic slabs and any other materials are suitable for their envisaged end
use. In all cases, this person shall be responsible for the final outcome.
2. Se debe comprobar la tonalidad, calibre y calidad antes de colocar el material.
Checks should be made of the shade, calibre, and quality of the ceramic slabs before
they are laid.
3. Se recomienda mezclar piezas de varias cajas al colocar.
When they are laid, slabs from several different boxes should be inter-mixed.

8. Resulta imprescindible el uso de un set de autoniveladores para colocar el material
cerámico con el fin de evitar desniveles y cejas entre las piezas.
A set of self-levellers should be used to lay the slabs so as to avoid an uneven tiled
surface or lippage.
10. U tilizar una llana de goma para aplanar las piezas. Nunca utilizar un mazo de goma.
Use a rubber trowel to level the ceramic slabs. Never use a rubber mallet.
11. No se aconseja trabar las piezas.
Do not stagger the slabs.
12.Para la colocación del pavimento en exteriores, el material de solado y juntas debe
tener propiedades específicas para tal ubicación.
In outdoor applications, the paving and grouting materials should have specific properties to withstand this kind of use.
4. Es imprescindible que el soporte sea estable, plano y libre de fisuras. Deberá estar
libre de polvo, grasas, humedad y restos de otros materiales, como residuos de
cemento o cal, entre otros.
The substrate must be solid and flat, with no cracks. It should be free from dust,
grease, damp and the remains of any other materials or cement or lime residues.
13. S e desaconseja limpiar la cerámica con detergentes y productos corrosivos. En caso
de ser necesario existen productos específicos para cada tipo de suciedad. Consultar
siempre las instrucciones de dichos productos.
Do not clean the ceramic slabs with detergent or corrosive products. If necessary,
specific cleaning products can be used for the particular type of dirt or stain to be
removed. Always read the product’s instructions of use
5. El material de agarre a utilizar debe ser el adecuado tanto para el producto cerámico
como para el soporte destinado. Siempre se deben seguir las instrucciones del
fabricante del material de agarre que se va a aplicar.
A bonding material should be used that is suitable for both the ceramic slabs and the
substrate. Always follow the said product’s instructions of use.
14. E l colocador debe ser cauto a la hora de manipular y colocar piezas rectificadas para
no dañar los cantos de las piezas.
Care should be taken when handling and laying rectified slabs so as not to damage the
corners.
6. La técnica a utilizar será la del doble encolado, colocando cemento cola tanto en la
pieza como en el suelo. Nos aseguraremos que el 100 % de la superficie está cubierta
por material de agarre y que no existen huecos que puedan provocar roturas,
prestando especial importancia al adhesivo aplicado sobre los ángulos y bordes de la
pieza.
The ceramic slabs should be laid using the floating and buttering method, spreading
the cement adhesive across the substrate and underside of the slabs. Make sure that
the whole of the surface is covered in cement adhesive, including the corners and
edges of the slabs, and check that they are no voids that might cause the slabs to
break.
15. U na vez finalizada la colocación, se deben eliminar enseguida los restos de materiales de agarre y rejuntado respetando el tiempo de espera indicado por los fabricantes
de estos productos. En el caso de que se hayan secado, actuar sobre las piezas con
un desincrustante ácido comercial destinado a tal fin, atendiendo a sus instrucciones
de uso. Utilizar una esponja limpia, no usar estropajos u otros materiales que puedan
rayar la superficie del producto.
Once the slabs have been laid, the remains of any bonding or grouting materials
should promptly be removed as soon as the waiting time indicated by their manufacturers has elapsed. If these remains have dried, use a commercial acid cement
remover, following its instructions of use. Use a clean sponge. Never use scouring
pads or other materials that might scratch the surface of the slabs.
7. Se deberán guardar unas juntas mínimas entre las piezas cerámicas para colocar
el azulejo, tanto en pared como en suelo. Estas juntas deberán tener una separación
mínima de 2 mm. El espacio resultante se deberá rellenar con material adecuado
para tal fin con un color similar al del azulejo. Se deberán seguir las instrucciones del
fabricante del material de rejuntado que se va a utilizar.
When they are laid on walls and floors, a tile joint of at least 2 mm should be left
between the slabs. The joints should then be filled with a suitable grouting material of
a similar colour to the slabs. Follow the product’s instructions of use.
16.El no cumplimiento de estas recomendaciones exime a Peronda Group de toda responsabilidad, por uso impropio o imperfecta colocación. No se admitirán reclamaciones del material ya colocado.
In the event of failure to follow these recommendations, Peronda Group shall be
exempt from any liability for the wrong or faulty installation of the slabs. No claims
will be admitted for material that has already been laid.
