Tenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
When we enter the Church today and see
ǲgreenǳ we are reminded that we have once
again begun celebrating ǲOrdinary Timeǳ. Over
the past three months we have prayed through
the Passion, death, Resurrection, and Ascension
of Jesus, and the coming of the Holy Spirit on the
Apostles. We have also celebrated two great
feasts of our Faith, that of the Holy Trinity and
that of the Sacrament of the Body and Blood of
Jesus, the Eucharist.
In todays first reading and Gospel
passage, we see life being given back, restored.
Elijah, through the power of God, returns the
widows son to life. Jesus does the same for the
widow of Naim.
As we begin the summer months, usually
a time of extra relaxation and enjoyment, let us
try to return or restore life to places where it has
been destroyed or damaged. We can ǲfight for
lifeǳ politically or personally, we can restore a
damaged friendship, or we can simply add to
anotherǯs life through a kind deed.
As we try to live the Gospel let us
remember that the Gospel preached is ǲnot of
human originǳ. St. Paul tells us that he ǲdid not
receive it from a human being, nor was I taught
it, but it came through a revelation of Jesus
Christǳ. As we try to live out the Gospel, our
lives are touching the divine!

YOUTH GROUP
We invite all our younger parishioners ages
11 and up to join our Youth Group each Friday night at 7:30 PM in the basement of the
church. It is a great opportunity to deepen
your faith, to meet new friends, to do something useful and to simply have fun together. Parents, grandparents, guardians,
aunts and uncles, please tell your kids about
this initiative.
CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASS
In the 2016-2017 school year, we will be offer-
ing a Continuing Education class for young
people who have already received the Sacrament of Confirmation. Father Janusz will be
teaching this class to continue formation in the
Faith.

MINISTRY OF CONSOLATION
The mission of the Ministry of Consolation is to
walk with and support with loving care those
who are grieving for lost loved ones.
The Ministry of Consolation is looking for volunteers to help with funeral Mass preparations.
Duties would include:
-Contacting the bereaved family to
set up a meeting.
-Make decisions regarding readings,
music and preparation of gifts that
will take place during the Mass for the
deceased.
-Contact one of the cake bakers.
-Attend the funeral Mass.
*They are also in need of bakers*

SPOTKANIE KÓŁKA RÓŻAŃCOWEGO
Spotkanie Kółka Różańcowego odbędzie się w niedzielę 5
czerwca, po Mszy św. wieczornej w języku polskim, w sali
pod kościołem. Początek spotkania około godz. 18:00.
PROGRAM POMOCY SOCJALNEJ (OUTREACH)
W tym tygodniu prosimy Was o: sos do makaronu, galaretkę (dżem), spaghetti, makaron oraz majonez. Przyj mujemy także karty- gift cards.
