The last day of Faith Formation classes will be on
Wednesday, May 14th, 2014. We asked that all
students be present to receive their Faith Formation
certificate.

Farewell Nicolas!
This week Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and
School bids farewell to seminarian Nicolas
Ramirez, who has faithfully served here with us for
this entire school year. Nicolas has been a big part
of our school and church community. You may
have seen him assisting in Mass and Communion
services as well as Parish and School activities
throughout the year. We at OLMC School will be
praying for Nicolas as he continues his journey at
St. Mary's seminary in preparation for
ordination. We want to especially thank Nicolas
for all that he has done for our school during this
year. He will be truly missed by our students and
staff at the school. Thank you Nicolas!

Esta semana la iglesia y la escuela Nuestra Señora del
Monte Carmelo le dan la despedida al seminarista Nicolás
Ramírez, quien ha servido fielmente aquí con nosotros
durante todo este año escolar. Nicolás ha sido parte muy
importante de nuestra escuela y de nuestra comunidad
parroquial. Es posible que ustedes lo hayan visto ayudando
en las celebraciones litúrgicas de la Misa y en la Comunión
al igual que en muchas actividades de la parroquia y de la
escuela a lo largo del año. Nosotros en la Escuela OLMC
estaremos orando por Nicolás mientras continúa su camino
de formación hacia el sacerdocio en el seminario Santa
María. Queremos agradecer especialmente a Nicolás por
todo lo que ha hecho por nuestra escuela durante este año.
Verdaderamente lo extrañarán los estudiantes y el personal

Enroll Now, Classes are Filling!
OLMC School is now accepting registrations for
the 2014-15 school year, which begins in midAugust. Of special interest are those families with
3 or 4 year old children who are interested in our
Pre-Kindergarten program. Our Pre-K program is
an academic program in which students begin to
learn the fundamentals of school behavior,
academics, and faith. Students begin learning their
letters, numbers, colors, prayers, etc, in Pre-K3 and
in Pre-K4, they begin learning to read with the
Happily Ever After reading readiness program
from Rowland Reading Foundation. If your child
will be age 3 and toilet-trained by September 1,
2014 they qualify to enroll in Pre-K3. If they will
be age 4 by September 1, 2014, they will qualify to
enroll in Pre-K4. For more information, or to take
a tour of the school and the Pre-K classrooms,

Nuestro programa de Pre-K es un programa académico en
el que los estudiantes comienzan a aprender los
fundamentos de la conducta escolar, académicos, y de fe.
Los estudiantes comienzan a aprender sus letras, números,
colores, oraciones, etc., en Pre-K3 y en Pre-K4, empiezan a
aprender a leer con el programa de preparación de la
Fundación Rowland Reading. Si su hijo tiene 3 años
cumplidos de aquí al 1ro. de Septiembre del 2014, y va
solito(a) al baño entonces reúne los requisitos para
inscribirse en Pre-K3. Si tiene 4 años cumplidos de aquí al
1ro. de Septiembre de 2014, entonces reúne los requisitos
para inscribirse en Pre-K4. Para obtener más información, o
