This month

Read daily with your child and
ask questions about the book.
This will help with their

First: First grade’s November
family project is to create a
turkey. Please turn them in by

will be using the turkeys as
table decorations for the
school’s Thanksgiving luncheon

First grade will be going on a
field trip to El Paso’s Exploreum

on Friday November 15 . Please
turn in your permission slips on
time. Students in first grade will
be learning about fall and sound
in Science, holidays and
traditions in Social Studies, and
place value in Math. Language
Arts and Reading topics for the
month include: summarizing,
story structure, fables, realistic
fiction and nouns.

Fourth: Fourth grade
students went to the El Paso Art
Museum on Friday, November
1st where they saw a variety of
artists and sculptors. Also Mrs.
Gardea will be attending La
Cosecha Duel Language
conference in Alberqurque,
New Mexico. We look forward
to hearing all about any new
ideas she learned.
4th/5th Connections:
Dress Code: Tucked in Coldwell Shirt/Polo with Blue Jeans and tennis shoes.
Attendance: Make sure students come to school every day, on time, by 8:00 am.
College Mondays: All students may wear college shirt, or anti-bullying tshirt.

Tercer Grado:
Kinder: Este
mes Kinder se enfoca en las
palabra de uso frecuente que
emos presentado. Lea todo los
dias con sus hijos y haga les
preguntas sobre el cuento. Esto
los ayudará con su
comprensión.
Primer Grado: El proyecto
familiar del mes de noviembre
es crear un pavo decorativo.
Favor de entregar sus pavos no
más tardar del martes 12 de
noviembre. Serán usados para
centro de mesa en la comida de
acción de gracias en Coldwell.
La excursión a ‘El Paso’s
Exploreum’ se llevara a cabo el
día viernes 15 de noviembre.
Favor de entregar sus formas de
permiso con tiempo. Los
estudiantes de primero
aprenderán sobre el otoño y el
sonido en ciencias, días festivos
y tradiciones en estudios
sociales y valor de la posición de
los números en matemáticas.
Los temas de conocimientos de
lenguaje incluyen resumir, la
estructura del cuento, fabulas,
ficción realista y los sustantivos.
Segundo Grado:
Les queremos agradecer el

Spelling Bee), será el 4 de
diciembre. Por favor motive a
su hijo a que estudie la lista de

los trabajos de varios artistas
escultores. La Sra. Gardea va
asistir a la conferencia, La
Cosecha, de language dual.
Esperamos todas las ideas
nuevas que va aprender y
compartir.
