Dear Parents of Inicial 2:
Comenzamos nuestra segunda Unidad de
Indagación cuyo tema transdisciplinario es
Quienes Somos, “TODO SOBRE MI”. Los
niños/as tendrán la oportunidad de indagar
acerca de sus familias, los roles que cumplen
sus miembros, sus tradiciones, y los gustos y
características que nos permiten conocernos
como seres únicos. El objetivo es que los
estudiantes reflexionen acerca de quiénes son,
de dónde vienen, entre otros.
We started our second unit of inquiry " ALL
ABOUT ME" . The children will have the
opportunity to inquire about their families , the
roles that their members fulfill, their traditions
and characteristics that allow us to know
ourselves as unique individuals . The goal is for
students to reflect on who they are and where
they come from .
En esta unidad trabajaremos con Entorno
Natural y Social al explorar los sentidos
sensoriales y percepciones, hablaremos sobre
los gustos de cada uno y cuáles son las
distintas maneras de expresarlos. Durante la
unidad los niños/as tendrán la oportunidad
de presentar a su familia, sus miembros así
como también compartir tradiciones únicas
mediante proyectos significativos que ayudarán
a interiorizar los mismos. Una de las actividades
propuestas, es la de compartir un fin de semana
con nuestros “muñecos viajeros” a los que
presentaremos nuestra familia y los miembros
de la misma despertando así sentimientos de
amistad, respeto y cuidado en los niños.
Seguiremos con el desarrollo del trabajo en
Lenguaje y Comunicación ejercitando la
memoria auditiva, pronunciación y lectoescritura
a través de una variedad de actividades como
el aprendizaje de canciones, poemas y
trabalenguas relacionados con la unidad.
In this unit we will work with Social Sciences to
explore the external parts of the body, we will
talk about the likes of each child, the distinct
ways to express our feelings, and the things that
make us different from one another. During this
unit, the children will have the opportunity to
discover different feelings and likes through
significant projects that will help them to
internalize meaning. One of these activities is to
share a weekend with our “traveling dolls”, which
will help create feelings of friendship, respect,
and care.
We will continue to work in language, exercising
the auditory memory, pronunciation, and the
processes of reading and writing through a
variety of activities, songs, and poems related to
the unit.
During this unit opportunities will be offered to be
balanced, risk-taking, and principled students.
