Let me tell you a little about it. ACTS stands for adoration, community, theology and service. The first time I heard about this retreat I thought it was going to be a lot of praying and someone preaching at me. I made an excuse for 2 years before I went on the first one. At that time, I was tied up with trouble at work and every day was such a struggle. I was just trying to get ahead. I was just depending on myself and not on GOD! My life was out of control. On this retreat I leaned that none of us are in control of our lives. I found such peace and happiness when I finally listened to what GOD wanted me to do. I think we are all looking for peace and happiness in our lives. What can it hurt to a little time to make a great change in your life. Maybe it’s time to say “HERE I AM LORD”. To register for a retreat, come by the parish office or register online at actsamarillo.org August 29th & 30th, 2015 CHOSEN News! Important Dates! th “Faith Sept 9 – KICK-OFF!
