This fall, St. Vincent de Paul is collecting new
and used religious items such as rosaries,
crucifixes, medals, statues and more. They
will refurbish them and redistribute to those
in need at no charge. Please place your
items in the one of the baskets in the back of
church.

Please pray for the respect of all life from the defenseless
unborn to the vulnerable elderly. All are God's people and
deserve our respect and protection.
Throughout the month there will be pro-life items on a table in the vestibule of St. Francis church. These items
are free for you to take and use. Visible signs can send
positive messages. A bumper sticker, a precious feet pin,
or a supportive word could be all someone needs to help
them choose life.

Appalachia Christmas Mission Collection

Beginning October 18 thru November 8 LCM will be collecting gifts for the people of Appalachia. Winter clothing, shoes
and boots are needed for all ages and sizes. Blankets, towels, kitchen utensils, and practical tools are great items for
families. Toys, crafts, and teen gifts are always in
demand. They can never have too many socks
and underwear, even adult sizes. Gifts need to
be new and unwrapped and put in the plastic bin
in the back of church. Call the parish office or
Mary Mollner if you have any questions.
